The Empire is founded when the Emperor takes control of the neighbouring Kingdoms to Acrea and declares himself Emperor.
After a massive display of power and systematic takeover of outlying Kingdoms the Emperor finally declared himself as such and announced the formation of the Acrean Empire. In doing so he effectively announced a declaration of war on all other nations with the intent to unify the entire world under his rule. This marks the start of the Unification Wars.
