In the wake of their victory against the Empire, and a flood of secret support from the Pleuyans, the city of Druace and its allies declared the formation of a new Empire to the world. Taking the name of its founding city to avoid confusion, New Druace kept its loyalty to the Emperor but not the institutions of the old Empire.
