Throat's Respite

  The tavern known as Throat's Respite was built by the side of the road leading up to Everhold, about half a mile from the fortress itself. It was constructed around a hundred years ago, and provides travellers a place to rest and eat. Previously, travellers would have to visit the town of Stillcross, about a mile away from the fortress and containing a much smaller tavern.   Throat's Respite has ten rooms for let, as well as a bar and dining area with two large fireplaces. It has a stable area attached, as well as a covered area to store carriages and wagons.
