The Zenrans are the human majority of the country of Zenra, spread out across its plains and woodland. Their biggest city, Sagona, butts up against the edge of the country's wild rainforest.
Across the country, Zenrans have built large statues of their gods, which tower over the landscape. This is especially true in the Majara, Zenra's southern coastal plain, which contains around two hundred of these. Settlements often grow in their shadows.
As the country is quite warm most of the year, being on the equator, the Zenrans rely on complex irrigation systems for their agricultural needs.
How big are the statues of the gods? When you talk about settlements in their shadow, I envision colossal structures.
Yes, I picture them absolutely massive. :D
