The Yarine are the group of humans who live on the relatively large island of Yarei off the northern coast of Ilwyrika. Yarei consists mostly of frigid tundra, much of which is covered in snow and ice for almost half of the year.
The Yarine are hunter-gatherers, with the majority of their sustenance coming from the sea. They also herd reindeer, which gives them a steady source of meat, milk, and hide.
What is their internal structure like? Given the scarcity of resources, I’m curious how they handle conflicts over distribution.
I feel like they have to be very community focused. This is definitely one of the ethnicities I need to work on more.
