The Arcanum of Linguistics

   The Arcanum of Linguistics is one of the nine arcana in the capital city of Kaien. Though it is one of the smaller arcana, it is no less prestigious.   The arcanum is devoted to the study of languages and linguistics, with a heavy emphasis on the Kaienese language and its dialects. They are also interested in extinct or endangered languages, doing their best to try to preserve them in some way. A current notable example is Mokai Mai, the language of the Koushan Mai.
