Temple of Temperance

  The Temple of Temperance is a temple dedicated to Nereus, the Monarch of Water, and the only one located in the city of Lord's Rock. It was built about three hundred years ago to replace the former temple, which was converted into a hospital after the assassination of Joshuan Rowe, a prophet of Nereus. Where the previous temple was lavish and opulent, the new one with built with simplicity in mind.   It is a modest stone building, with seashells pressed into the plaster around the entryway. It has no proper door, to signify that worshippers or those looking for aid are always welcome. It has a simple dormitory where the priests sleep, a simple dining hall where they eat, a kitchen, and a room where they and members of the public come to worship. The majority of the priests there work at the hospital across the street, the site of their former temple.
