Stemor is a country to the south of the continent of Sarsand, a primeval land of rocky plains and boreal forests. It is this country that gives Sarsand its reputation for history, with its people living very much as they did over a thousand years ago. The land is littered with ancient standing stones, monuments to gods that are still worshipped today.
How do they use the standing stones? Are they purely sacred sites or do they have related functions (astronomical, calendrical, etc)?
They definitely have other functions, but I'm not 100% sure yet if these have been forgotten or if they are still followed.
