Scarda

  Scarda is a large country located in western Aenica. A small part of its border consists of the mountain range of the Great Northern Spine, and its whole eastern border is made up of the Merethe river. Scarda is a temperate country with plenty of fertile land and forests. To the south, where the climate warms, forest gives way to grassland and scrubby woodland.   Scarda is ruled by a military government, despite the continent of Aenica having officially been at peace for the last two hundred years. They maintain strict control of their borders and their citizens. Although they have trade agreements with the Bryethegar who live in the mountains, these agreements are a frequent topic of debate, with some arguing that the old concords weaken their borders.
