Monterre

In the old quarry

This article is a stub. Please comment if you would like it to become a priority for expansion.
The town of Monterre in Eshua is built at the site of an old limestone quarry, dug into the side of a mountain on the southern edge of the Teeth. The quarry walls provide natural protection on three sides of the town, whilst a large wood wall has been built across the entrance. The town is home to around four hundred people, with around fifty or so others maintaining farms and homes outside of the town's walls.   The buildings are constructed from a mixture of limestone and wood. Many of the buildings are three storeys to take up less space within the walls.

Sounds like they can pretty cramped for space - are they excavating deeper into the mountain to get some storage room or back exits?

If it is not yet happening, it is probably at least being discussed!
