Keld

  Keld is one of the larger settlements on the island of Bril, with a population of around five hundred people. It has been around for about eight centuries, and started off as a small hamlet of sheep herders. The buildings around town are all made of stone and are relatively small - with the exception of the tavern, which is also used as a meeting house. Keld is famous for keldsir, a hard cheese made of sheep's milk, which is aged in the caves located in the cliffs below the town. It is also one of the biggest producers of woollen textiles on the island.   During the recent civil war on Bril, they were the only settlement not to face significant losses thanks to being able to take shelter in the caves below. Their sheep were not so lucky, and they are currently working on rebuilding the town's flocks.
