Caesar
Lord Inquisitor Caesar
Mental characteristics
Education
One of the very few Inquisitors who joined the Inquisition of his own volition at a later point in his life than most, he was treated with extreme caution but his tenacity and unparalleled natural talent left his trainers with no doubt of his aptitude for the field. He studied the Daemon for years, learning anything and everything there was to know about them, memorising their every weakness with his brilliant strategic mind. He will only begin a fight when he is sure to win and is capable of guaranteeing that victory by exploiting the critical flaws in the armour of his opponents. He specifically trained with every weapon and fighting style known to the Inquisition, to become the most fearsome, adaptable Daemon-Hunter the world has seen. Though his skills with weaponry are not to the level of a master, it is his honed ability to chose what weapon to use and which tactic to employ at any given moment, that makes him so dangerous. Those in command saw his outstanding display of devotion to the art and soon he was granted the title of Lord Inquisitor along with control of a sizeable unit of Inquisitor Crusaders. This placed him as the first and only Inquisitor, who was not trained from birth, ever to receive such honour.
Employment
As a Lord Inquisitor tasked with the defence of the most perilous Warprifts beyond the Hellmouth, he soon earned a name for himself as one of the most competent at putting a swift and brutal end to Daemonic incursions. His Crusaders also earned a name along with their leader and they became known as Custodes Clypeus, of the Ordo Malleus. He took up this banner with honour. His blade has since been dubbed "Breachbane", for the many rifts it has closed in his grasp.
