Angel guides
Angel guides
Angels, while mainly thought to be a myth in this land, are all around the people. However, they must follow the strict rules put in place by Gyuaz, their god.
Forms
Angels can take many forms in this world, meant to appeal to their person's soul. Ex: if an angel's assigned creature enjoys wyrmlings, they will most likely take the form of a wyrmling to bond with their creature faster. Of course, there are certainly forms angels are never to take such as:
- Dead loved ones
- True forms
- True demons
- Living loved ones
- Images of gods
These forms have been outlawed after previous incidents with creatures that had to have their memories erased to be able to go back to their normal lives and/or incidents that wound up damaging villages
Actions
While angels are allowed to perform mundane actions in their taken form, they are unable to perform life-altering tasks unless it is in a time of absolute need. Examples of these tasks are:
- Mass suggestion
- Suggestion
- Scrying
If it messes with the thoughts or actions of their creature, it is banned, as their job is to help the land, not meddle in their affairs. However, performing more calming actions is acceptable. Examples of these tasks include:
- Cuddling
- Reading to them
- Taking care of household chores
- Giving simple gifts
The purpose of these actions is not to include magic, but to calm their creature and make their lives simpler.
Punishments
If an angel is to disobey the rules set in place, they will stand in front of Gyuaz themselves, explaining their case to the god. If the angel is to be found breaking the rules as an accident, they will be let off with a warning. However, if they are found to be guilty of breaking the rules purposefully, they are to have their wings torn off, stripped of their true angel form, and flung down to Ethosan in the form they had taken with their most recently assigned creature.
