The Harnesses of Hedon

Walking through the club for the first time revealed aspects of the world to Calhoon that he had only seen through video. A hundred Hedonites partook in activities both mudane and bizarre. Some danced on glowing poles, others sat at the bar. Some talked, others made out, and some took it even farther. Calhoon stared a bit too long at a Shejlt-Rajh binding up a busty Aen with their silken tail and rope. He noted that both wore harnesses, the Aen's sported loops perfect for being bound, the Shejlt was adorned with gem-like studs that glowed with their passionate utterances.

"Is that your sort of thing?" Ja-guen stepped in close, hand cupping Calhoon's side and nodding towards the show. "I could see you a harness like hers." His deep voice conveyed lustful promises, enough to force a shiver from him. "With one like that I could string you up anywhere."

"Damn, Ja-guen. You make a heck of an argument." Calhoon joked, though even he heard the quiver in his voice.

Ja-guen guided them along via the possessive hand gripping Calhoon's side. "That Shejlt is a meta-trained dom, you can tell by those studs and the way the harness highlights their hands."

"How's that work? Are they custom harnesses?" Calhoon asked, indeed the Shejlt's wrappings fastened around their wrists, the black leather stark contrast to the tawny fur with peach rosettes.

"Oh yes, most Hedonites have a harness that resembles who they are and what they are into. That one is pretty complicated, but it can be as simple as a Bonding Band or a certain type of shirt. It allows others to know a bit about who's who and what boundaries they might have."

Ja-guen pointed towards the Aen now being gently hoisted high by the ropes binding her harness. "See how the neck on her harness is open? It means she's available and is okay with public acts."

Calhoon whistled, watching the show with undivided attention. He was thankful that Ja-guen was guiding him.

"Well then, if I see any that pique my interest, I'll hit you up. For now though, I wanna taste a real mixed cocktail." Calhoon's focus fell on the Bar in the center of the lounge. "I bet the lack of a can's gonna make it taste so sweet."
