Guess what! There's a book now! — (MxM, Thriller, Erotic)

Tempestasa Obelisk

Biggest thing we gotta figure out is how to handle the old Arcology. Giant pillar smack dab in the center of the valley, wide and tall enough to fit dozens of our habitats inside.

Pretty sure it's gonna be loomin' over us the entire stay. It was intended to house ten thousand, but clearly it didn't work out.

We got the option to make an expedition out of it for a healthy pay boost, but it fell for a reason and we gotta play it careful.

The central arcology of the Tempestasa Valley, broken and overgrown. The blackened metal skeleton is broken up by overgrowth and reinforced glass paneling.

From outside and from sattelite imagining, the only thing that can be appreciated is the size. It's a small-scale arcology, one of many reported to be set up by the Expansionist Syndicate before the Lacuna.

The documentation paints a picture of high-scale living overlooking the entire valley. The Obelisk's map files shows shopping, residential, security, entertainment, and an underground transit line station.

Syndies always like to make these one stop shop projects don't they? Lacks any good character just cause it's 'efficient.'

Facilities

Residental

A majority of the floors are taken by the Residental space. Starting from the bottom up, smaller tenements turn into larger apartments which are capped with a floor of luxury homes.

The stated residental capacity of the arcology was stated to be 20000 total.

Infrastructure

The arcology is powered by a thorium reactor, and houses water treatement, hydroponics, and even a transit station. To where, who knows, but there are tunnels leading below.

Most of the equipment has been broken by whatever calamity claimed it.

Security

Documentation on the security facilities is limited, no doubt to prevent sabotage from troublemakers like us.

— Carmine

There is a security level near the ground floor, and one facility at the very top of the obelisk. These facilities are large enough to store small security forces, though where they were automated drones or not was not specified.

Marketplace

The Obelisk has a multi floor mall and marketplace, many of these arcologies needed a place for locals to trade and barter their goods. It also served as a place for the colonists to gather and relax.

The space is broken up into rentable storefronts, organized supply shops, virtual arcades, multiple restaurants, and a cafeteria.

I bet you cleanin' duty that there's a Schroedinger's.

Ooooohhhh this place reeks of the potential for an Ethnis stylized 'dungeon' crawl for some sort of roleplay game and that would be epic. I'd love to, risks and all, have that opportunity with the right band of associates and friends. Sure could be risk, but could be some great potential rewards!

I would absolutely hate to live in a place like that.
