The Pump-Action Shotgun is a class of manually-operated firearm first invented by humanity before the Advent War. It is brutal, effective, and easy to understand. Even in the modern era, the pump-action shotgun remains mostly unchanged from its ancient history.
Pump-Actions are a common find on the backs of colonists, farmers, and survivalists, especially those with human cultural influences.
Pump-Action shotguns are made of steel components and wood/polymer furniture. The shotgun consists of a tubular magazine and a barrel laid parallel to each other with an operating rod that ejects spent shells and loads a new one from the magazine. Shotgun shells can be crafted with many payloads thanks to its large size and low velocity.
