Distra
Distra is the capital of the world of the same name. It is the central point of the Undaunted government and is host to the ziggurat from which Akshaya Mahima rules.
Seat of Government
Distra is the seat of government and the name of the world because Distra is where the Ziggurat of Akshaya is. Akshaya, who united the Undaunted tribes with an iron fist, rules as its "benign tyrant"—a term lovingly given by her her adherents.
Distra is at the junction of the ocean and several rivers, and so is an optimal point to rule from. Since reconnecting with the greater universe, they have fresh access to Meissner tech, but for the duration of the Lacuna had to resort to boats and land vehicles as meissner technology was at a premium.
Port of Trade
Distra is a port of trade for both ocean and space. As such, it has multiply tiered sections to the city for ease of access to ships and Wayships alike.
