That Monster, Identity
Piecemeal, we've made a beautiful monster of Identity.
Truly, it is gorgeous. In much the same way a siren is gorgeous. It is a topic full of pratfalls, because it is such a fluid topic that just discussing it moves the goalpost. It cannot be observed without changing it, and each time you talk about it you stitch your interpretation into the already messy tapestry.
