The Jhoutigari Field Ration is the main military ration for the Pact forces. While each of the Pact Nations make their own field rations, the Jhoutigari Field Ration, also known as the JFR is the most common, especially in zones where the nation of Aempis has control. The JFR contains an average of 5000 calories, a plethora of vitamins and minerals, and stimulants to help aid in high-stress scenarios.
The JFR comes bundled in a sealed pouch. The cloth pouch unfolds into a disposable tray, and refolds back into a pouch for easy disposal or storage. The individual items in a JFR are either wrapped in waxed paper or sealed in lightweight cans.
The JFR in concept has been around since the Nation of Aempis was founded. The pouches of preserved supplies and meals were critical to keeping Aempis alive. Working so many fronts required giving their militaries everything they needed on a day to day basis in a single package and it had to last.
While many elements of the JFR have remained untouched over time, such as the tan wax paper and sealable pouch, the items within have evolved over centuries of use.
Menu items evolve and shift, incorporating new recipies to bolster troop morale. Certains items are replaced with newer and more efficent variants.
If they ever tried to get rid of the Meyfar from the JFR, there'd be a Jhoutigari Mutiny.

Millomi fry in sweet sauce | Millomi balls in a packet of diced vegetables and a tangy Nege sauce. |
Pouki Mane Bowl | A spicy bowl of grilled Pouki fillet over pickled Eupresties Mane. |
Blanched Animal Bean Soup | A bean soup with diced vegetables served over a small portion of rice. |
Pouki Omelet with rice and sauce | A controversial Menu with many claiming that it tastes more akin to Pouki vomit. The spicy sauce it comes with makes it more palatable. |
Creamed Mane and Millomi | Mane noodle and millomi chunks in a savory cream gravy. |
Aempian Stew with Vegetables | A chunky sweet stew with soft starches and beans. |
The omelet is clearly the worst option here. Tastes like pouki pukie.
