Cyber Mantle
A Cyber Mantle is an bioengineering term used for technology that can 'host' a conciousness. Whether by Metaphysical or technological means, a Cyber Mantle serves as a way to preserve life after death.
The Technology was first conceived in the Advent Era, and has only improved and become more common since its inception. Some use it for combat, to swap in and out of specialized bodies to fit their scenario. Others use Cybermantles for leisure, swapping between forms as the epitome of a luxurious dress up game.
With just an onboard battery keeping his Cybermantle power, Fuimano was limited to witnessing just a second-per-day. For the first few days, he didn't see much.
His CyberMantle had been unceremoniously dropped amid the wreckage of his body, so his only show was the sprawling discoloration and drying of his meat until—in a nightmare blurry in both emotion and detail—some local predator carried him towards the yard's center to gnaw off the rest of his chewy bits, leaving the hard casing of his mantle exposed through his broken skull.
