Mardwynn Ironfinder
Mardwynn was undoubtedly the most famous dwarf that has ever lived. Beyond that Mardwynn is known as the world's first Paladin. Driven by a need to explore the world above, Mardwynn emerged from under the Iron Mountains which most dwarves called their home. Legend has it that unlike many dwarves who had been terrified by the wide open sky above, Mardwynn saw such beauty that she believed it must be protected and the deity who created it must be worshiped. On the site she believed to be the most peaceful, most holy, and most beautiful Mardwynn dropped to her knees and swore the very first Paladin Oath. It was there Mardwynn founded an empire that would extend through almost a quarter of the land, and the home of all Paladins and free worship in Enternarii.
