Forest of Corrilwal

These deep and thick forests create a dreadful sense of foreboding for any not familiar with the ways of the woodlands. It is said that deep within these forests the Elves first emerged descending from the fey creatures who taunt, tease, and trick those foolish enough to enter the woods. Meanwhile at its very heart is the Interloper, a small stand of mountains on whose slopes it is said the first Halflings build their villages.

Major Settlements

Erwydd Eaves The established home of the Corril Tribes. Though many Corril still maintain a nomadic existence, the study of magic and knowledge saught by the long-lived Elves required the founding of a permanent home. Deep within the Forest of Corrilwal, the Corril found a spring that seemed connected to the magics of the Fey. It was there that the created what would become the only large town in the forest.   Caravii Built to provide constant protection for the Tree of the Forest, the Carav tribes protect it fiercely. Despite this Caravii is a place where many tribes frequently gather to share songs, stories, and artworks recalling the ancient histories of their people.   Maren Melliart A small outpost of Elves built for the dual purpose of providing a logistical route of goods prior to being traded at Vinaar, and keeping watch over the expanding Kingdom of Zylor.   Corriwyn Unique among the settlements of the Forest of Corrilwal in that it was built to commemorate the slaying of the first Green Dragon who terrorised the forest for many years.

Points of Interest

Interloper's Ruin Built above a non-descript cave, the Interloper's Ruin is believed to have once been the very first Halfling settlement in Enternarii.   Warden's Rest A temporary homestead capable of being dismantled and relocated. Warden's Rest is home to a small group of Corril Elves who have been tasked with protecting one of the forest's most powerful artefacts.
