Agrilings

Agriling Origins Believed to be the first culture in history to have discovered the science behind good agriculture, the Agrilings were first noticed by the tribes of the Carav and Corril Elves after clearcutting areas of the Forest of Corrilwal to develop their farms.   When war came to the Agrilings, they put up an impressive defence holding out for several years against the combined forces of the much larger Elven tribes that were attacking them. Before too long the desire to explore and to return to a more enjoyable, simple way of life led the Halflings out of the war and out of the Forest of Corrilwal. Once at the southern border of the forest, the Agrilings were pleased to look upon vast, rolling grass fields and meadows perfect for their farms and easy way of life.   The founding of Vinaar It was, in fact, a Halfling who first founded a farmstead on the site that would become Vinaar">Vinaar. Many of the Agriling clan remained in the region but still more expanded out and now the descendants of the original Agrilings may be found throughout Eternarii.   The yield from the fertile lands around their homesteads afforded the Agrilings the opportunity to develop a modest settlement. Eager not to see any of their harvest go to waste, more of the Agriling clan set out to make amends with the Corril and Carav tribes. Upon reconciling, the Agrilings set out to explore the world around them looking for adventures on the horizons.   Integration An explorer might find Agrilings anywhere on Eternarii today, mainly as a result of their wide explorations and explorations. Most often Agrilings will be found in small family or clan sized hamlets farming the areas around other settlements.

Structure

Organising themselves in a clan hierarchy, usually these Halflings care more for their own farmsteads than kingdoms or positions of power. Halflings do respect the elders in their family units, but otherwise do not concern themselves with politics.
