The moment the passenger vessel, Paradise, and the geometrid it collided with, Catalyst II, impacted the surface of the planet Etagard. This event changed the course of history for all the world, bringing on a new era full of war and subjugation.

The disaster unfolded in mere minutes, but to the survivors, it seemed to go on for ages. The comet sized geometrid, struck by the sudden arrival of the IPV Paradise, became frenzied, taking the passenger vessel with it to the surface of another planet. It would later be called Catalyst II, and the world, Etagard. In an instant, the lives of billions of people were forever altered by a single event.
