Ratfolk
Ratfolk, also known as ysoki, are a species of humanoid rodents haling from the continent of Morstal. Though they have lived in Allethra since before the formation of the Allesend Empire, it has not been until the Empire's fall that larger populations of ratfolk have popped up in the larger cities of the continent. In particular, Daripur features the largest community of ratfolk. Many of these are descendants from immigrants, though more ysoki arrive by boat every year.
Ratfolk are generally an even-tempered people, content to stay out of the grand machinations of the world. They operate shops or work in manual labor where their small sizes allow them to access places other races cannot.
