Goleg

The Tyrant of Loss was once a loyal psychopomp, one of Nyx's highest-ranking servants before the war between the Essarian Gods and the Pliscians. When the war began and Nyx's halls started to fill, Goleg took the losses of the other Gods harshly, believing Nyx's halls to be meant for the fledgling mortals that had not yet ascended to their full potential. With a grim determination, Goleg picked up an axe and joined the war effort against the invading alien civilization. By the end of the war, Goleg had become an effective, if brutal, general, believing the only way to preserve life is to eliminate all threats to it.   Having been so close with Nyx, he took her betrayal of the Essarian Gods personally. Now that the deities are once again awakening and seeping through the cracks of the Divine Prison, Goleg has devoted himself to supplanting his old master, believing her unworthy of the job. His followers on Essaria devote themselves to preventing as many deaths as possible, sometimes by making the hard choice and eliminating a single, potent threat.
