Barich

Barich is the national language of Barisea. An ancient language, very little about it has changed since the rise of the Barisean Senate in 1358 BE. Because of that, ancient Barisean records are still able to be read today.   Linguists debate why Barich has changed very little over the millenia. A common theory posits that Barich is closely related to the spoken language of the Pliscians, and is a "solved" language, meaning that the construction of new words and grammar is already built into the language itself.
