Torchbearers

History

As pitch and other flammable objects about in Vexguard, the store has a strict no open flame policy in and around the store. This of course makes the selling of torches somewhat difficult but each torch is marked with a specific colored grip. While Torchbearers is one of the newer shops, their offerings have become an important part of the industry and commerce.   Torchbearers has open orders that are fulfilled monthly with mining operations all around Espen, these contacts are fulfilled by Red Ward Trade Co. which pockets a 5% cut on both ends of the delivery. They also provide a number of torches for the Freefyre Festival so their selection and availability of torches does tend to ebb in the winter.  

Ownership

Olympia Bellowspring is the founder and president of Torchbearers, a human and previous adventurer,  she found her time with adventuring parties cumbersome as one of the few adventurers without darkvision she needed a way to keep up with her fellow companions.  As something of a tinkerer she fashioned a number of useful torches that were useful in a variety of environments.
