Spirited Champagne & Wine - Dryspell

History

The primary industry of the region. Home to the most expensive of cellars and sellers of the bubbly wine. The average bottle of Spirited comes in at well over 100 GP, and the most expensive at 1,592 GP. Founded as a farm it was initially unsuccessful. The high concentration of clay & chalk in the soil made farming very delicate vegetables impossible. However, the soil was perfect for grapes, along with the moderate climate of the region gave rise to a popular wine industry.   Though costly it is well worth the price. As the effects are a euphoric high an unlike lesser alcohol it doesn't provide a druken buzz, rather a clarity   A small contingent of BOSC guards were hired to guard the estate and vineyards. Though it is believed that the most closely guarded secret is the process by which the champagne is made. The process is guarded by the family de'Guastal, who have been the owners for the entire 166-year history.  

Ownership

The de'Guastal family were simple farmers and had no lofty dreams of crafting luxury beverages. Yet, they leaned into a good thing when it found them, turning 20 unruly acres of boggy marshland into the pristine cultivated land that it is today. Saruq de'Guastal currently mans the land, his hands permanently stained a deep red from years of working in the industry.
