Hold-On Accessories

History

The hostile environment and marshy lands that the homestead of the Holdon's was built upon was oft seen as a curse. The land would not bear fruit, the smell was considered unfortunate on the best of days and untenable on the worst of them. The family's patriach Shonn Holdon even considered relocating to another town, however on the day he and his family were slated to move they found their wagon mired in a thick black goo.  Unable to leave the town, Shonn spent time investigating this strange substance, studying it and learning how to use it to his advantage.   

Ownership

Generations later his great-great-great-great grandson Roald Holdon is the towns benefactor and mayor.  The small fortune his family amassed as Vexguard developed from a no-name farm to a reputable village still grants the Holdon's a position of power and prestige.   The town's general store Hold-On Accessories is still operated by the Hold-on family and serves as a pillar of community.
