History & Lore

  Though Evolir perfected the contracted protection model, Mithrigal invented it. After the prolonged war with Genasi that saw the now Dwarven city of Mithrigal nearly decimated and its defense force reduced to two small regiments, the Apostle King reached out to Gridis Sanlow the leader of the roaming army of Orcs that had come to be known as the Blackguard.   The fall of the Genasi was of note, as such the Dwarves were concern that their current vulnerabilities left the city open to be taken by the humans or Elves, or even retaken by the Genasi. To prevent this the first contracted protection contract was drafted securing the services of the newly formed Blackguard Orc Security Company (BOSC).   Management: The current leader is Orok Th'Tal has been exerting his control and power over the city at an alarming rate. Many dwarves have appealed to the Apostle Queen demanding a change in leadership but their requests have gone unanswered. Orok is careful not to overreach leaving many to surmise some type of arrangement between the Apostle Queen and the BOSC.
