  The Bank of Espen rarely takes interest in any one person. They instead make decisions and investments based on patterns and trends. However, in the case of Nora Goldtank the Dwarven master Jeweler, the Bank has taken great interest. Nora means and methods for testing gold, silver, Everore, and rare gems are unknown but she has a flawless record. The bank has utilized her in high-level deals and exchanges for verification and validation of the materials in question. The payments received from BoE have been more than enough of a nest egg to allow Nora the ability to keep her shop open.  

History & Lore

The shop itself is perhaps a bit oversized and some might even say opulent; but, what else would one expect from one of the top jewelers in Espen. Nearly every surface is embezzled with some type of jewel. The ivory walls on the east and west are accented with emeralds. The ceiling, south, north walls were solid quartz with sapphires arranged in Nora's initials overhead. Each of the doors was accented with one flawless diamond. To protect the shop and Nora, the Bank pays for full time armed guards at the shop and to follow Nora.*   _{(*Per a report in the Kobold Press this attention has really began to go to Nora's head. She has become incredibly demanding of her security guards. Drinking only the finest wine, gourmet meals, and the finest attire will do. This has made her somewhat of a pariah to the locals who have no problem sharing their disdain of Nora.)}
