ManaLeya Archipelago (Mahn-na-lay-ah)

The Manaleya archipelago lays just of the coast of the Kesh'mehtt desert. The size of the islands being much smaller than most geographical features of this area has allowed these islands to absorb the most of the world's latent magic. This has allowed for the growth and mutation of creatures plants and magics found nowhere else. The people of these islands believe that the very source of magic itself lays beneath the archipelago spreading across the land like the roots of the great tree of life itself. The sheltered coves bays and lagoons provide a near paradise for all who inhabit this region. dense tropical flora and warm climate means that there is very little competition amongst the creatures and beats who live here, limiting the large predator population substantially. Heavy tropical monsoons are known to hit the area twice a year, in the fall and the spring as the weather in the surrounding areas change forcing strong weather patterns into the region. While the forest is fertile and large the trees are not packed together overly densely and sufficient light still reaches the forest floor through the tropical canopy. The area is rich in both fruit and fish as well as certain fungi. As there is such an abundance of different flora in this region the plants might be more competitive than the creatures. This manifests in that nearly all plants in the region either flower or bear fruit; each species more brightly colored and fragrant than the last. The luminescent algae found in the mangroves of the bellow bog are also common in this tropical region of Esparea
