Atropus, the World Born Dead, makes contact with the Material World of Eschain, and begins a necromantic assault that would nearly bring about the total destruction of life on the world. A loose coalition of armies led by the greatest heroes of the era banded together in a desperate last battle against the oncoming swarm of undead, and managed to battle back the dead god and put an end to the necromantic blight. The 5 day battle, named for the nature deity that brought the armies of Life together, marked the end of the first era of Eschain's existence, following the reformation of the plane from the prior reality.
History of Eschain
Eschain is formed from the remnants of the previous Material Plane, held together by the collective will of the new gods born from the demise of Hastur, an Old God.
Reality's Mending
