The Eldritch Talisman

Talisman - any object ascribed with magical powers intended to protect, heal, or harm individuals for whom they are made.

The Eldritch Talisman actually two items, which can form a single more powerful item of Eldritch magic - known as The Graven Token and The Eye of The Deep One.

If either one of these are worn by the Masters of Eldritch magic, the wearer's casting spells are amplified double. If worn by another spell caster this token still amplifies the wearer's spell casting, but only by a third. If worn by someone who is currently not a spell caster, they will crave knowledge and skill in one of the Types of Magic.

Although any part of The Eldritch Talisman would prefer to seek out Eldritch magic, it can only influence the wearer to a certain point. It will however slowly, draw out the darker, evil side of the wearer's nature. Therefore a master of another school or type of magic could be found wearing it, and are slowly being corrupted.

The Graven token is make from the jaggered horn of Wyverns, that has been engraved with two symbols on opposite sides ...
+ A misshaped triangle that has a jarred top, and the point curls around like a backwards letter C - with the curve, of flat-side down half circle, inside.
+ A shape similar to the letter L , except at the top it curls around like an upside down letter E, and at the bottom the line continues to look like the letter X with an elongated downwards line.

Wearing The Graven Token will increase the abilities of the wearer's spell casting. It extends the duration of all level spells (excludes cantrips), by an extra quarter of the original - the spell casting can be using any of the Types of Magic. Also increases the range of the effects, to double the original spell details. This includes healing, time spells, buffs, sorceries, and incantations.


Also called "The Evil Eye".
Created by an eye of a Kraken - embalmed in a mysterious crimson liquid. That has been engraved on the reverse, where molten lava stone was steered into it. The symbol is the outline of one of the symbols from The Graven Token - so they fit together perfectly ...

The sinister stare of the eye inflicts paralysis on a creature - The targeted creature must succeed on a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for 1 minute. The target cannot repeat the saving throw.
This Eye also allows the wearer to them cast enhanced Scrying on another person.

If both are locked together by the engraved symbols they will make the wearer basically unstoppable.
The wearer gains all the abilities of the two graven talisman, as well as further abilities.

It allows the wearer to earn double both HP and AC - however, they will lose those points whenever they take damage, until back to original HP and AC. No other bonuses to HP and armoured AC can be added to the amounts.
When the wearer of this talisman is hit by an attacker, then the wearer can use their reaction to deal psychic damage to the attacker equal to the wearer's proficiency bonus and push the attacker up to 10 feet away from the talisman's wearer.
