Feathered Rabbits are small feathered creatures, often hunted as food or as feathers for cloaks.
They are herbivores - during the day they graze on grasses and other small ground plants.
A group of feathered rabbits is called a clutch, a nest or a colony. Leporidae is the family of rabbits and hares. The term "warren" is often used to refer to the underground tunnels where wild feathered rabbits live.
Feathered Rabbits have many predators include birds of prey, foxes, dogs, stoats, wolves, weasels, and snakes. This affects how and what they eat, how they communicate with each other and how they spend their time. Feathered Rabbits eat grasses and other plants, and their teeth and digestive system are designed for both poor quality and high fibre food.
