Sashelas's avatar looks like a sea elf with blue-green skin and eyes - although occassionally as a large Triton.
Manifestations
Deep Sashelas appeared to his worshipers in three different ways:
* A twinkle of light from afar that, if followed by worshipers, lead them to a safe place.
* A small vent from which bubbles of air escape. He appeared in this form in sea elf communities to warn them of a potential threat or attack.
* A dolphin-shaped vision made of water with a silver glow. He used this form when communicating with sea elf communities.
Personality
Deep Sashelas' presence has been felt all across Esau and he seeks to be on good terms with underwater races beyond the sea Elves and Triton. To do so, he relies on the charisma that makes him a natural leader, and on his skill as mediator.Sarula Iliene erected a glass and marble palace on the bottom of the Fen Sounds to honour Deep Sahelas. Sarula took Deep Sahelas as her mentor.
Sashelas prefers to use water-based magic and especially avoids fire spells.
Trishina - Goddess of Dolphins
Trishina is the goddess of the dolphins - also known as the Wave Rider - consort of Deep Sashelas. She is the reason why aquatic elves have such a bond with dolphins.Alignment = Lawful Good

Worshipers
Deep Sashelas was originally worshiped by the Sea Elves, as he was their patron deity and creator. In each of their settlements, there was a temple dedicated to the Dolphin Prince that typically looked like a giant clam shell. Sometimes, other races now seek him as a patron out of an interest in water magic. Among all of his worshipers, it is forbidden to dabble in the usage of the Shadow Weave (see Types of Magic).Priests and druids pray to him daily during the high tide that is the closest to midday. They play the roles of mediators between the races of the sea and of the land.
History
* Deep Sashelas, along with consort Trishina (Goddess of Dolphins), rescued Elan Morin Tedronai - as favour to Torm (God of Courage and self-sacrifice). Elan is also known by the name Moridin Ishmael, he is a wizard, and member of The Honourees.
