Yashina
Yōshū is a region situated on the east side of Yōwan Bay in Northwest Auslon. It makes up a large portion of what would eventually be known in the Second Age as the Black Forest. As its name would imply, it hosts a dense boreal taiga and is home to the Yōsō people. The forests are so dense here that the sun hardly shines through, making the land seem like perpetual night. In winter, some areas have been known to have snow on the ground from November until March. The summers are cool and pleasant but nothing like they are in more southern climes.
