Kaushū
Kaushū is a region in western Auslon. It is heavily wooded in the north as a temperate rainforest that thins out towards the southern end as it gives way to plains and mediterranian scrub. During the First Age, it is inhabited by the Kausō people, a southeast Elven tribe. During the early Second Age, it is settled by Tothic peoples and is the subject of revanchism throughout the middle of the Second Age.
