Ebonwood (EB-on-wood)
One of the first towns to join the Duran Uprising against the Zeroth Dynasty, Ebonwood is one of the larger Human settlements within The Kingdom of Dura. The location quickly established itself as a training ground - the place to send soldiers to train for months on end, to return ready to join the Knights of Dura or even the Silver Dawn.
The town itself is deliberately built interspersed with the surrounding Darkwood & Spiritual Wood forest - a lingering effect of having been developed under Elven rule, with the Humans not deforesting the area as they are often wont to do.
Demographics
Mostly Human & Half-Elf, many Genasi & Tiefling, small collection of other races.
Government
Governed by the Kingdom of Dura, the town is run by the military. A top general of the Knights of Dura, Corvalor Swifthammer, is the leader of the town.
