Entry 38 I always wanted to go the Circus
Master sets us on a course towards The Blood Ward, but along the way the is a manor and an armory we have heard of and this may be a good stop. We make it as far as the docks, where the harbor is destroyed, and a vortex of destruction blocking the way. Master advises we all take the long way around, in order to keep Miss Amrith safe, a noble choice.
Along the path my nose starts to pick up something rotten, and I can hear bleating, what twisted form of goat is this, better not touch this. I bring the shadows about us so (6/8 ki) we can remove ourselves from this scenario when Varta, the blockhead, yells out in greeting. It seems they know him, I can see the resemblance, they both have too much dirty hair and fill their bodies with trash. After Lady Elya explains they could be trapped elves and Miss Amrith scares them into leaving... Varta will have none of it though, dancing motes of light into their path.
At this point Master has had enough of this and goes to skewer these creatures, as they wrap them in thorns and tear them apart. Varta does something to separate out the infestation from whatever is left of this elf. I don't understand how they worry about these lowly creature when this creature waits to play with its food. Finally it takes off after the group, and I can strike, though it is clearly native to the skies and is able to avoid most of the strikes, I couldn't cut off his flow of energy (5/8 ki). I must stop this creature, his energy (4/8 ki) must stop, I watch my prey plummet to the ground and present its skull for me to crush.
Off in the distance Master runs towards Lady Liam, who should not be here at all, and is being chased by another miscreant. I will stop this creature (3/8 ki) the moment I determine its form. Finally this thing is pinned (2/8 ki) but it put up one hell of a fight, but now it is nothing more than meat. As the Master stabs his lost love it transforms into some other form of hell spawn. They attempt to flee the fight, but we cannot have another hunter coming after Miss Amrith (1/8 ki) , but I am unable to stop them, and almost lose this gift in the process.
They are after the Ebon blade, and Miss Amrith think they wish to posses it.
Entry 37 Tempting Fate, then punching it in the Face
Master and Lady Elya gather us around to give us a lecture on the Nashintari views of magic and purpose. Kess is able to support some of their ramblings. They explain the beliefs that stand true in the Ward Land is what is known as "Regus Loci", an idea that the magic and health of the land are tied directly to that of the Reagent. The Nashantari however are changed in order to meet the nature of their land, an ancient tradition from when the revered the primordial forces. Though at some point they decided to break this tradition and focus on the forms of true arcane magic in its purest form. One of their number had ascended to become their King, an elf made into a god. In turn the rulers of the land became Princes in service to their King.
The Princes are determined by the greatest mage of this domain, able to wield both the theoretical and practical forms of their magical branch. This lead to a culture of suppression, in order to protect the power of the status quo.
Of these factions only the Gardeners kept their ties to the primordial forces, focusing on the interaction between magical energy and the primordial source. While other factions looked to other planes of existence to understand the essence of magic. In their path to ascendancy the Nashantar developed NIV, in order to create a God which does not need to be worshiped, but would be self-defined, and therefore self-perpetuating.
The spiders still remain in the courtyard and are looking to clean up the residual magic in the area, these wisps, in order to keep the barrier between the material and astral planes strong. These spiders were brought forth by the Bloody Handed god to protect the material plane from the bombardment of primordial magical energy. These creatures live for the single purpose of rebuilding this gauntlet.
This land we are currently in was ripped out of the material plane and now exists between spaces, remnants of the magical energy coalesced into these crystals and these spiders help pin us to this place.
From how they talk about these creatures it seems like they are just dedicated servants, you simply need to shift their beliefs, slowly if possible would be best. NIV may be one of the most convincing voices, but Master worries it would be difficult.
Miss Amrith, starts to talk to invisible spiders, and seems she is being merged with the ground itself, though she is swingy her sword wildly. This is most unexpected, but based on their explanation the Prince would be one with the land. It seems all it needed was a simple command from a Prince, as she as able to cut through stone and existence to free herself.
Master walks forth and tells them to attend him, a moment passes, and Miss Amrith calls for the retreat, as something is after us. It seems some sort of worm has manifested itself, Master feels as though he can talk this creature down. It lunges biting off his hand, and magic bursts out from around him. Lady Elya tries to talk down this creature as having delivered justice, but it just laughs and sings. Master orders its demise, finally something we can agree upon. (7/8 Ki) I will pin this creature, in order to bring pain upon his being. (6/8 Ki) I will not allow him to move, as Lady Elya surges bolts of lightning through its soon to be carcass. Miss Amrith cuts it into ribbons, as I am able to keep this thing immobilized (5/8 Ki), but it seems during it's last breath it is able to gain some freedom (4/8 Ki). The squirming bastard calls for backup, before Miss Amrith dismantles his existence.
Lady Elya was able to clean up Master's hand, though it will still take time to grow back. It seems that this was an enforcer of "The Laughing God" a visage of Fate itself. It seems there is something out there paying attention and doesn't appreciate Master's jibe at all of existence.
Lady Elya tells us the blood ward was used for games of magic bending the world. how fast and strong you could make a creature before they were overwhelemed. he manipulated those aroudun him for his amusement It seems he was a trafficer of souls between the mortal realms and the lower planes, where he found many allies. this is how he survived the fall, and created a 24x7 infernally driven blood circus

The King is on the stage with Queen and with Kingsguard (6 or so) she is veiled. Queen is a refugee with no history and didn't speak common. Their children have all died except the princling who is 3 years old.

Our parade heads out some dangerous folks Aldi battle axe, Kord is in full plate.
We sprint ahead, they are not so adapt in the mud, will need to clean up later. The narrow bridge Valeria falls in and we move along to a rope swing and spot swamp vipers. Running to the climbing wall, Master has some trouble but is able to move.
Our Athletic abilities has won us dead last.
Onto Throwing, progressivelye more difficult targets. 1, 3, and 5 points, I failed miserably for the house and missed all targets

Lastly we dance, the Master proclaimed his feelings for Avril and won the crown over. Miss Amrith, danced well and was able to put on a good show myself, finally seeing some points.
Entry 01 Day 1 Evening
The day was rough, Master accomplished much but I was a failure.
There are now others, rule benders, to be watched. The Dragonborn Barbarian danes to join us. An old softskin has also joined, his sword looks worthy though. A fresh smooth one who rides also joined Kord, maybe he can tricked into destroying his master.
The Master can send me many places, to pray, drink, see a play... the others as well. He wishes us all to party, Sevis Tam is at the feast of racist.
The gathering of Heroes has an egg eating contest, Orc, the master is going to disgrace himself eating swamp eel eggs. Valeria is able to hold down many eggs and wins the contest.
Met Syral, a loaner but lizard like I. Alone in the woods
Miss Amrith, came forth saying she was in trouble and her life was at risk, we did not see the danger on the way back to House Nasin.

Major After Hours Events:
The Ceremony of Remembrance: This is a solemn religious ceremony often attended by the nobility which goes though the names and deeds of the Heroic Saints at the cathedral before a procession is lead to Cedric's tomb and participants are allowed to commune with the Saints for blessing and guidance directly.
The Gathering of the Heroes: This is an event held at House Down which consists of a massive block party that all races and classes are invited to attend. Traditionally a group of Orcs usually takes over one of the taverns and celebrates raucously. There is gambling, drinking, dancing and cheap food.
"The Prophet of Nashrantar". This is a popular play dramatizing the events of the fall of Nashrantar. It will be held at the Bard's College.
The Feast of Saint Liam, this is a quasi-religious ceremony hosted by the Order of St. Liam. The poorest in the city are invited to receive the blessings of St. Liam and are provided food, clothing, healing. Crowds of the poor gather to receive the tossed tokens which can be redeemed for entry into the feast. Heroes who attend often do so to give charity. The feast, and the Order has a whole have a reputation for being quite racist against races of "monstrous and infernal origin".
Dance of the Summer Moon: A drum circle and dance held in the druid's garden, occasionally fae lords or primal spirits make an appearance.
A reading of Law and Mystery: Held at the great library it allows participants to receive tutoring in the skills necessary for the next days challenges of law, arcana and mystery.
The Mock Battle: Held at the coliseum, this is a massive mock battle hosted by the Golden Company, it is a form of capture the flag often with strange and entertaining challenges for participants. Betting is common.
Entry 02 Day 2
The hunt would happen in the swamp, we gather with the head druid. In the garden, stnading trees. The 4 trees teleport us to different locations for a hunt.
Southern Islands - New area outside wardland but within the light
West - Frogs, where we are from.
East - Spiders
North - Borovia
Master was quick with his hands, heading west to catch tree frogs then. They have a numbing toxin so do not rub on them.
I make Master a net before headed through. The portal closes behind us and will open again in 3 hours.
It is a grove of woods, with stream and reeds we head to white bark trees with the frogs
1 frog in the first hour which Miss Amrith caught.
3 frogs in the second hour are found, we killed the 2 and kept the bodies, Lady Valeria caught another.
2 frogs found during the 3rd hour Miss Amrith and recovered one dead one
I recovered 2 frogs alive, decent.
We stepped back through the portal but Lady Liam did not return..

The topic will be the concept of Justice. - to ensure your word
Sevis Tam the enemy went to answer, saying justice is for all and blames others for her failings and weakness. Avril believes the nobility breach gods and men. The Firbolg spoke next he is simple.
Lucian speaks and speaks against laws based on birth, looking to end an old law but never mentions the new, a short sited man.
Lady Valeria speaks on behalf of a difference between protection and condmenation of people.
Master chooses balance between mercy and punishment, an astute understanding of the depths of Justice a wise move to show how important a Judge.
Amrith answers to the pillars of justice; kindness, the will to act with virtue to stop.
I was asked who is Justice for and where does it come, clearly for all and from power, a truth.
Battle and Strategy
Lady Amrith wins against Shiva, and I sent Lucian to the latrine in a hurry.

We head to the lantern boat races and the theives guild (Harbor Masters) in order to sponsor the event. Lady Valeria takes us to this smooth man child, asks a random person and does not use violence.
They try and shove us off and trap us, fools, they lead us to Gurrero de Perro knowing when they are outclassed.
GP in office, short skin sack. 2 guards outside, and a Bar woman.
We go to the yacht and enjoy the hospitality of the Harbor Masters. The masses are thrilled to win masters petty scrappings.
Boats make it to the half way point, GP points to this woman who shoots fireworks, this is novel, quite spectacular.
GP's neice went south, lost to sea, Catelina, he is very proud and misses her, could be used.
The winners are joyus happy to enjoy and win, they don't take for their own the common here are not strong. Master has done well to take their souls and hearts.
Entry 04 Day 3
The tournament begins.

The battles continue, Miss Amrith may need to face Lucian, must watch closely.
A spy approaches and tells me of terrible news Avril has been betrothed to Kord as an alliance.
The battle betwen Miss Amrith and Lucian is intense, she ends in tears Master and I walk her out. Miss Amrith mentions he is her father.
We must go to a lesser bracket and I must face my Master, a trying situation, he wins handidly.
Kord knocks Avril out, Master clever as always helps her out learning it is not all great.
Entry 05 Day 3 Evening
We won Spearfall and were given the Kings boon, afterwards we are back at Harbor House.
We decide to head back to the swamp to ride past house Nasin to expand our lands.
The best way out to the swamp would be using a boat through the waterways
Lord Nasin came to visit and praised our performance a most wonderful experience. He gave Miss Amrith the blade! This was quite the ordeal and warned us that we may no longer be able to be protected much longer.
Master Nasin wants to move quickly to expand the Wardlands by clearing the way and getting as much wind in our sails as possible.
We are taking mage horses, clear the way in the city, protect the lands from bandits, we look to gain a boon from house Down a potion of clairvoyance.
We head to the library to learn more of the blade and are able to determine the Nashantari smashed it in the first age over 6000 years ago, we check the Nashantari section.
Where we run into an elf curled into a book, Kess Varta., who may be drunk, or more simple?
Packed the bags of this Lore Master and found many a drugs along the way but it needs some cleaning to really make this a better situation.
Entry 06 Day 4 - The Ride of Spearfall
We start off going West into the swamps.
On the way out a purple majesty spoke of doom, warns against those who corrupted the earth and those who have a weapon forged in darkness. He is casting ritual magic but we ride past and move on.
The Harbor master's clear the city for us making a smooth ride.
We are able to push through, and come acroos a kobold trail of blood, likely mauled by a bear.
Master presses on, and comes to a bridge near mills, another purple fool, or the same.
Master rides down the fool, but he is nothing but robes, the Orcs look at him carefully but decide better of it.
Some hot springs we walk towards, Kess Varta says a portal to the planes of fire.
We are able to make it to a bridge where the simple one falls, but is saved from a beast.
Come across some folks who cheer us on and the good master throws them coppers as we passed, but seems they are throwing money each way for pigs, what fools.
The simpleton does stop to help master, noteworthy.
Some deer, spooking them isn't neccessary.
Coming into some mines, our horses take a beating, a man shouting at us that we must leave there is a Shepard, and we see a skeletal Shepard walking over the hills but the Master presses on.
We try to head past a group of bandits, who shoots an arrow, out of pocket comes the gold and on we go... I cannot catch their scent.
After this a farm, with pigs that fly with bat wings, how amusing, there is even a force wall to keep them in.
Standing stones ahead but Master guides us around, and we are able to move on.
A rider approaches us, a gentleman of sorts, Drewill the Red, Master names him liar and we travel on. As we pass he eyes Amrith longingly, but rides away, if he returns death will be his end, I will watch as night falls.
There is blight, after a child wants us to help but is scared of me, we must be close.
We are gaining close to the hold, 15.5 at 14th hour
Master decides to go through levy, in order to keep the horses fresh in the most dangerous of territories, we are able to move through the area with our map making good time. Hot springs are in view, would renergize indeed, he calls for a short rest. Kess lights some herbal smoke, a short break will do me good, well behaved servants.
Upon leaving the horses fail us and must be beat to move on, it obeys, but one tries to tip Master, I will watch it or it shall become dinner.
Amrith stops to look at some goats and rearing at them for the carts, Master wisely makes note for the Lord and moves on.
A half mile on a small stall with 3 Goblin Merchant comes into view, Master speaks goblin and they scurry in fear.
An old fool wave's us down promising control over weather for 25 Silver for good fortune, it was paid.
The Master rides into Nasinhold, arguements and petty desires fall beneath his glorious ride, even the heat and humidity cannot stand. Miss Amrith requires an investigation, I must find someone to leave instructions with.
The metal beast-dwarf decided to stay behind and cause a fight with some house guard, maybe her death will muddle our trail.
Heading into the swamp, our local Simpleton decides to drown his horse, and jumps on Master's. I must watch to ensure it is not a ploy.
Raven's burst from the swamp and Valeria returns with my Lady's favor, perhaps worth more than meet's the eye.
The Master follows and rides like wind, even with the extra load, impressive.
A Golthias tree, in the swamp, these beasts can kill and run over the land, this should burn as my father's have done but I a death created from it's own fruit may be the key to their demise.
A darkness sorrounds us, fear and death rule here, Miss Amrith is comfortable, a well trained warrior.
Croak's and frog's sorround us, a giant one fall's to my fist, the Master and Miss Amrith are injured but the others are capable, I am sure Master had said run.
Even with delay we can make it to the ruins before sun down, comming upon the robbed figure performing a ritual.1
Entry 07 Day 4 - The Ride's End & The Portal
The sun setting we approach the ruins, the dark robbed figure deep into ritual.
Master Nassin, walks forward and attempts to spear the earth with the lance, but a creature appears to stop the lance from falling. This small imp evades us and is able to bring the Lance to it's Master, death is the only solution.
This robbed magician shoves the spear to the portal's mouth forcing it open, and a soldier appears to guard his ugly face. The master swiftly dodges out of site and burries a quarrel into this fool's side. A mace catches my arm as I pile onto my Master's lead.
This fool tries to toss the damned spear, my tail is faster than this slow witted thief.
This has drawn their ire, their rage is clear, damn.. I should have focused before pulling this stunt, this may be my final lesson...

Waking I can see Miss Amrith, the Master carries me? The armored bear seems to be missing, and we are hit with a bright light.
Kess, starts working on this portal while the Master and Miss Amrith start to investigate our sorroundings and talking possibilites about the portal locations.
This is an opportune time to prepare for further travels.
After the Master deliberated our path in great detail, Nashantar should be our location.
We will ensure a good story for the King upon our return to Cerc.
Entry 08 Into the Portal

The enemies all around us, the party works tirelessly to find their aim and comabt abilities.
Comically these fools swing widly while superior warriors are able to fell their foes effortlessly.
Ogres and goblin's fall left and right.
We reach the portal and sea of green tile overwhelm's us. Master falls sick as the floor comes to meet us and then falls away again.
The world changes and the lights overwhelm us, luckily mammals roam this world so we won't go hungry.

We venture through the portal, Master Nasin seems concerned with the moments inbetween.
The other side of the portal reveals a truly outlandish image, water flows in every direction, and enormous crystals float.
The magic seems to permeate all life, and completely captures Miss Amrith in its grand visage.
The Wondering One seems to attract the stones.
We approach a decaying watchtower, but I can smell fresh blood. Something dangerous has made it's home here.
Master has found something and Miss Amrith seems to recoil this.
Walking around the base of the tower we find eyes and tentacles merged into the wall. It seems dead, but still captures the spear.
Miss Amrith seems to have more information as she learns her secrets of the darkness. One can hope this land will bring her the power to end both the darkness and this rotting king we live under.
Searching round, the beast's hand sits to the floor, but it moves. The petals stick to this hand, Miss Amrith is concerned this beast is the cause. There is nothing good here, bag this and pinned it to a rock.
The Wondering One finds a body, in pieces, but the head misses, though all looks dormant. Again this fool, pulls another trick on us, a beautiful strong falcon emerges from a sleeve! This beautiful bird brings back a pumpkin
We enter the tower, the lights glow dim with decay overtaking the furnishings, feels comfortable. Master leads the way, as it grows dark I can see in the dark
I can see a humanoid battle ready with a shield and spear, it is dark and foolishly I overreach and was taken advantage of, loosing my umbrella.
Master is clearly able to communicate with this creature, spectacular as always. This is not death or triumph, another path is opened by his wits yet again.
This newcomer speaks of a Lady who has saved thosed doomed souls of the Nashantari. This one may have much to learn of the world. This one came followed to the energy, Master seems to wonder this person, Elya is truthful, or at least pliable.
The beast seems to have been transformed into death itself with not even the pristine pockets I have mended surviving.
This new one, smells of fresh rain, and spores eminate off her. She calls herself Elya, and says with nothing but moon here for time she cannot remember.
The Master pushes for information on this great Lady Savra, but he already knows she is a member of the Court of Nashintar. Though she takes Master's word and will agree to take us, though she may have a plan. Kess seems skeptical, a rare precaution from this one.
Master is willing to go along, with this pledge of the Lady, seems she is looking to go.
My umbrella drops and turns to a warhammer, though suprisingly light. This is not normal, in this land but a finely crafted weapon. I put this warhmamer into the hand of our fallen comrade, as Elya dashes for this shard of the sphere, but I am able to to grab this.
Master is wise to jump between us as this savory being would become nothing more than stock. We learn this Elya believes this shard to be a piece of the tree of Life, an Elowyn.
Elya serves this Lady to decide the course of this shards fate. Master and all discuss the fate of this shard but Kess is able to convince us to go together.
Entry 09 The Nashrantari Wilds
Master allows this Fungus to lead us forward, and he instructs me to retrieve a stone of this gaurdian.
Meanwhile the Wandering Fool continues to explain that he burst the heart of the portal and cannot repair it, I cannot comprehend how Portal's need hearts.
This newcomers, the one who belongs in soup, tells us our sliver is from a tree, Miss Amrith seems to try and explain our home through the portal. They talk of this tree as a source of all life, there seems to be some differences amongst these people.
Master is able to gracefully guide us through a burial right of the fallen comrade. Our last respects paid he leads us the Master is thrown to the ground as he and the hand race towards one another. A stone rips through his flesh, a screaming Master does not seem well.
As we move out, Soup Maiden wants us to divulge our history of the spear, however she seems to know little in way of details. We all seem to know this is a special item, many sources of Ki live inside.
A breeze passes and removes an antelope in order to place it elsewhere. After it's heads add and remove it runs off as three when it was only one. The Soup Maiden offers a safer passage towards a city, with safe campgrounds on the way.
A Pink Shimmering farm home, in a field worked but not planted. A slender entity stands before us one Princess Neermatta, daughter of Neer the builder on Nashrantar, if the Wondering One can be believed. Seems she tries to repair the home though, not all there. She speaks of Varta, the wondering One, is named traitor. Our new acquantience tries to talk sense to this half mad life. Talks of half blood and abandonment, though the wise Master is quick to end it's wrath.
This one moves but is not organic, it is not stiff with a carefully crafted face. this golem must be special.
Entering the house the roof has a hole with a stalegtite impaling a body, whith a Gargoyle though old.
The shadows in the room are moving, and this beast is an Umbra? Miss Amrith sees illusions and a large blue rat runs away, turns out this rat feeds on fear to torment us.
Master leads us to rid the house of these rats, and we head into the house. On the table there is a small brass cage, open with small shackles. Miss Amrith pulls a stone out from under the rug, a small lead box, the Master wisely puts it to the side.
Playing the piano a key is off terribly as I have little ear for this. Reaching inside there is an iron sphere with an eye engraved on it and a brass clasp. Kess stares in closely and this amulet pulls out his eye, though he seems not as bothered as he should be. I quickly cover that horrid hole with an eye patch as the Master mentions it is likely a trade with another entity.
The Wondering One is off towards the nearest source of intoxication, but our newcomer seems wise to ensure he doesn't get us all killed. Miss Amrith seems to be on the same page as this amulet.
Finally we come upon one of these rats, jumping at Kess, he retaliates and the Rain scented ones go after this rat in earnest, but seems Miss Amrith was required to send it beyond.
As I walk through the door into the room the doors berate me, calling me warm blood, rattling my skull. Kess walks through behind me but vanishes instead, I guess this door isn't all bad.
Seems there is some commotion in the other room, they should be able to get beyond this, though the Master seems to be in quite the mood. Running in these rats just do not want to be swept away, and it seems the Wanering One is entranced, even shoots a bolt at me, this is a "wizard"?
Miss Amrith seems to have recovered enough to defend herself as the Master runs in to kill yet another rat. Kess at least seems to desire attacking these fools, unlike some other members of the group.
This Soup Maiden is not so difficult to mend, but Miss Amrith seems to have taken their attention. The Master runs in with a valiant thurst to scare them away. A bit of a vulgar primal display, but they are able to die.
Entry 10 The Path of the Fungi
We go to open this sealed box, the magic is so intense Miss Amrith looses her sight momentarily, it must be a grand power source.
The Master taps the stone loosing his sword and leviates up.
The Wondering one calls in archenite, a source of random magical energy, and may be able to start out portal.
After taking up some of the good from the house we look to make camp in the basement. There are limited items here but I will make the best I can of this odd place.
While the night passes a Beholder comes into my dreams - "all debts must be paid with interest or with blood"
Waking for my watch we have a visitor... Elya tells us to fall back immediately.. seems we are sorrounded by some sort of ghosts or rememnants of this land.
Locked in a basement, I have no intent of being murdered by a long dead elf. They are looking to take us to their leader, who is ruthless.
Elya barters for our passage and without any violence we leave in their company.
After much debate we leave behind our key.
Entry 11 A bridge too far
We walk along the path with these escorts, as we seem to follow the life blood of this world. It runs in the sky as a vein, and these locals are able to navigate it's chaos. These people have matured in this open cave for many years to adjust to such whims.
As we continue along the path Master is keen on removing ourselves from this company, though the land is dangerous, and our watchers our many, a very bold manuever. There are many options to confuse and overwhelm these folks who are so on edge, but it seems the One who Wanders has brought no useful skills to this land.
As we approach the bridge, I reflect deep into my training, remembering I could cast a great shadow upon this land to cover our tracks. There is a building ahead but we are not able to determine our path.
We come upon this reed that captures the attention of the group, Splintstalk, it could be useful to craft with in an emergency.
The Master wishes to make a move, now is the time I will bring us into the darkness. I am crossing the bridge and leap over this wet seaweed, shouting but clearly they cannot hear my words at all. Master looks over towards the bridge and peers under the bridge.
The Wonderer vanishes, instead of crossing, I am not suprised.
Lady Amrith seems to have some aid from this Ogre, she cannot see, this will need to be watched very carefully. Master seems to have this in hand as he smacks away the Ogre grasping after the Lady. As they cross the seaweed reaches out and squeezes the Master and Lady, this is dire.
Seems Kess, retreats I try and draw it's attention and slowly back away, though it seems to have other ideas. It's lips lay on the Master and his body is weakened immediately, I fear he will no longer be able to lift his sword.
They cannot stop me with these small particles, tearing at her eyes she barely notices. She is detroying Lady Amrith. After we battle Master is able to calm her, but it is late Amrith fall's, I have failed this one.
Master finds the name of the one who betrayed the drowned one, Agar Kahoon, a royal of this land. He promises finding her long lost love and to bring him to justice. She changes faces to a fair Lady, the elf she once was, Pyrim Varta... figures a lost soul, of a different sort.
Now we must watch over the dark blade, and body, we must find a way to bring her back.
Entry 36 What was left behind
There is much here to think upon, Master has completely changed, he appears to be of another sort, skin changed color and his body is different, he is even learning the Arcane quickly. Now Miss Amrith seems to have returned to her senses... mostly. The Skin Changer, ...Elya..., she has bade us all to join her in a ritual, to bring life to this barren land. Master allows me to delay my duties in order to lend my efforts. As we look to bring life to this place, it feels as something is resisting, it does not want things to grow in this place, and it will resist. Miss Amrith and Elya describe a group of spiders, trying to keep this place as it is. It seems that claiming this seat of power is crucial, but for now we must rest. Scavenging the area Elya and I are able to put together a smoker, and smoke some of these fine critters (+20 rations). In addition the water for dousing steel could be repurposed for baths, and we could build a worthy camp. (8/8 Ki)
The following morning we set out to search the area, starting with this portal, the one that lead to the machine hell, Varta wishes to recreate, or understand the Arcane workings. They wish to find more notes on the working, as we came in there was a room filled with scrolls, it seems the reasonable place to start, happily Master agrees. We find a large tome, on coins and sigils, which Master wishes to keep. The Enchantment Folio, with an inscription "Hakon moipar kair idish estivas!" meaning "Power through spirits light ward by Quarian. Varta keeps a scroll, some sort of magic, and Lady Elya finds a book by Thadrulex himself regarding the tree. Miss Amrith finds an Arcane scroll, and another book this one on art. Master finds a tome on sorcery, and Lady Elya pulls out an interesting book, made of crumbling stone, though Master can stop it by reading it, seems the author venerated some "Goldbeard" a wizard, and mentored Razh, and he studied the Adversary's magic.
We continue our search of this area, the kitchen I had picked over already, but the dormitory still has some things to look through. Many of these are simple things, a top and some hair accessories, but also a token, depicting 4 of the 5 fallen houses.
There are cells which once held the clones, but they are long gone, and it seems there is a dissection room as well, where we find some form of wand, that Master keeps as the craftsmanship is amazing. The chest has a copper amulet of interlocking gears, a Holy symbol of Mechanus - Master seems to have a good synergy with this device. A lantern that is always lit, and clothing that changes into any travelers wear. There is a chunk of flesh nailed to the wall, it seems still barely alive, but looking for a power source. Lastly a cleansing stone, what a wonderful device!
Master removes the nail and lays the flesh down on the table, and it sighs... Elya channels life magic, as it grows and is shaped into flesh, elvish in shape, but screaming. Varta knows it is of Nashantar, but Amrith think it may be too late. The Master tries to sooth it with his thoughts but his mind is troubled by the connection. I am able to calm it down long enough to have it speak (7/8 Ki) There are two souls at war, one of a grand being at odds with our Patrons, another is the elf. It starts to scream once more but I am not longer able to stop it (6/8 Ki), Amrith severs the soul and is able to put them both to rest. It seems this elf was from house Dimiri, the house of spies, and his last mission was not so successful. It seems they used magic to bring fear to life, destroying those that wished to resist.
The evening goes and we set up the ritual to gain domain over this land. Miss Amrith brings the wisps back to being wraiths, though not quite to life. The Doom of Nashantar arrives and forfeits the blade shard to Miss Amrith as she claims the thrown.

Entry 12 An Oath to Remember
Elya helps prepare Miss Amrith's body, keeping it safe and I cover her saved body. The Master is clearly in shock, we must find a way to undo do this disaster.
As we gather the stars fall around us, the moldy one tells they are spirits of the past who cannot past but linger.
The souls take up Elya's song, drawing energy from the river, the line and the sky, they glow soft pinks and purples comming together, to become five beings, more there, yet still not quite clear.
With a bright flash of light the colors vanish from this world, the river is gone, this world's energy is being used in great amounts.
Kess panics, until Amrith sits striaght up and spouts a prayer to a God of Death. Also this screech of sound, seems the Master and Miss Amrith both can both understand this. "The pink and blue one dies last"
Scouting ahead an office and a theater are ahead and look to be safe places to rest. Master wishes to go to the administrative building, for its defensibility.
Offices, but for our location cells or armory have single point of entry, the Master again wise chooses to head towards the armory, though it is now barren. Walking through the halls this building seems to be responding to Kess, a gift from his ancestors perhaps?
The one who smells of rain, pulls up dirt to bring with her, an odd being.
Entry 13 A discourse on Lore, Lions, and Law
We wake, safe and dry. Master urges us to search for records in this hall of Justice.
The servants of the tree - garden and new life, the other ushering out the rot, dealing with the end of the cycle, the Earth hugger tells us this was started by Endursaga.
We learn much about this land from their taxes, Master tries to piece together the lands, rulers, and history of these lost peoples. This one knows of an old fued, where soft skins bred their males in luxury. Zeenikeef of the Last Laugh... quite the title, either clever or funny.
Seems we traveled the path between crowns, to keep us safe from the struggles internal to this land.

Master finds a locket to hide our spear within, to hide from magical vision, a clever move this.
Master wishes to bypass the blood ward and make our way to the West Ward, home of the soul trapped machines.

It seems I have gained a tail, must have been to comfortable a sleep for my mind to wander so far. Though it seems to not to need to hide, and gives its position, it knows I am there are that I see it, these beast is regal. It's head moves like that of an owl, this creature is hunter not hunted.
Felidar explains he is bound to the house of Law but has lost his armor, lost to imps.. he shows us towards the blood ward.
Eventually we come across a suit of armor in the middle of the road, standing at attention. Master tells it we do no harm, so it escorts us to Neermatta, the Princess of gears.
This zone, though odd seems to carve and create to make better the land which was laid to waste. Seems all creatures were treated equally under this effort. Though seems this has not gone so well, he calls himself footman, a name being to painful, though this is odd as knowing what you are can mean so much. Smooth skins are so odd.
* Monolith Footman
They are all so productive, but they do not seem to have so much meaning.
Master tests them by summmoning a rat, it does not sit well with these armors, my teeth are faster than this poor snack. The footman tells of his Princess, reforging all life to survive from the Advesary's taint, he is a poor servant divulging all their secrets so quickly.
As we approach these machines become more extravagent and elaborate, but again Footman says they are copies of the original creation. The Princess can create, but seems not capable of passing it down, though their memory remains. I see now of their sadness. As we approach this is a fotress of ever watching, there will be no way out without wits.
Tesadre, emissary of Neermatta. Our Footman leads us to him... gold and porcelein, but his chest is flesh, seemingly merged with this machine. His heart is a shard from the ebon blade. He carries a thin blade and is a nemisis of the blade, a challenge
Entry 14 Some fine wine and a long slide into darkness
Master seems to know of this Tesadre, a Knight Captain, a swordsman of legend, it is unclear if he is still a swordsman or swordsmetalman, I must understand how to address these half creatures. It seems they have some remainder of their class, profering great stores of wine to share, it seems the wondering one cannot contain himself and gorges immediately. I must remember this, in case this one needs to die quietly.
Seems this half creature thinks the flesh is weakness, Master can really keep them talking, but it is good to hear, they believe maintainence is a weakness, and run by siphoning off the magical energy of this world. We must show he is weak in front of others, slowly take him down.
The rug here is in dire need of some repair, the wandering One might as well have put a torch on my head, "this one is a servant". Very well this fool shall sleep faster than the rest. It is best to use these moments to learn where to strike. Our host seems to long for company and the days of Nashintar that predate the fall.
This half being seems to be full artifice, only magical death would stop him, though there is some gold delicate parts to bend or break. It also seems his sword could be grabbed if needed. Casting this place into darkness would keep the advantage.
This Tesadre, ends his own guard to take his life, he must be confident in his skills as a warrior. Master seems to be able to convince him that he will unite their people, to take back these "shadow roads". A sound strategy to defeat your enemies, but says they are closed.
Seems this metal bird is also a guide, bringing us down a new path. A posterior that glows blue, how inconvient. Seems these can be distributed... how unclean. Master has led us to a trap, and it seems the floor is no more. Miss Amrith is not with us, cursed stone my claws won't catch! A bright light sends her tumbling down, at least she will be here.
Seems we have entered a hallway, in some darkness, but not beyond my site. The Master wishes us to shake these annoying gnats. They seem to be able to pass through the living, and remove themselves from sight. These little torches seem to pack a punch when they wish to hurt. These small balls of light truly find the earthy one appetizing, but shutting them off seems to be appropriate.
Now to set up a place to rest, the reeds must go down, we must not be caught for now we are alone..
Entry 15 The Deep Dark
Blood, sweat, fear rules this group, so the Master suggests we take a moment to recount our things, organization calmed the group and we found some useful supplies.
We use most of our (7/10) healing supplies, and refuel our bodies.
As we start to move, a small bug stings me, how dare they leave their escape tunnels so filthy. Not only 20 feet and Miss Amrith reads words in magical blood, and the Master warns it is a trap of death, but clearly the pool of blood gives this away. It is good to see Master so proud of his studies. Miss Amrith is far more perceptive, analyzing the hand, it may be the same author.
The Master tosses some of this blessed drink onto the blood, it screams, that is truly unsettling, dinner should never scream after it is dead. Seems together they are able to scare away this madness.
Miss Amrith holds the rope, Master makes it so gracefully across, the newcomer as well, though the single booted fool can't focus as normal. Miss Amrith scrapes through the blood, but makes it through, seemingly unharmed. These warm ones try to burn this puddle, a fool's errand, they should know to use the bubbling elixer.
Moving forward, my ears are pierced with the onholy sound of crying, likely a weak elf, oh this is not going to be good. The Earthy One approaches this monstrosity, slowly as a snake, wise to gather information before engaging. I will leave this one to Master, surely he will try and comfort this disaster. Miss Amrith has lost it, and has broken down into weeping, this wet nonsense must go. Seems The Earthy one will make her tea, this seems to be the type of plan Master would go far, likely will cause all hell to break loose, and she calls me fool, and knocks my fire to the ground, worse yet Master confirms this insult!
This spider woman crawls away, and Miss Amrith shouts her down, but the Earthy One wishes to calm her own kind. This one seems still raging at Nermatta, maybe the one who chose to make these long ears into gears. This one has lost her mind, all but a small burning sense a hope, truly a tortured soul, truly should die.
Master delves into her worthiness and meaning in life, truly he uses more flattery than fat chefs use lard, when she clearly is gone and wishes either death or vengance. Seems fat chef's have their place, she tells us of a room filled with pillars and swords, she says to move from it quickly a "skull keeper" likes to hunt there, let us see how this strong this beast is.
She prays at the Master and talks about not moving or going around rocks, but learning why rocks are there, to warm the bones, but they do not seem to know this. Something about a Lord of Secrets, this is truly to much warm blood madness.
Entry 16 Beyond The Sorrow
Master sends me ahead to see what else these halls hold for us, though it seems I have gotten myself lost.
Screams vibrate the air, but also some other commotion from behind, likely Master, though it does not smell like he is bleeding.
My claws are wet with some warm bloods innards, this one was skull crushed, maybe by a large animal. The Wandering One's bird is not calm, a good beacon in this maze.
Ahead lies those I left behind, but there is a turn down ward, which smells like a storm... curious.
Metal scraping is between my position and Master, seems things have become testy.
I focus my mind (-1ki) to chase down this attacker, it has flesh of thorns, no wonder it wears no shirt.
Time to take this fool down
Entry 17 Thorn in my Scales
This creature stands tall against the Master, tearing flesh from his face, he is so focused attacking me seems secondary. This seems enough of an opening for posion spores to catch it full in his empty face. Bolts of fire and green force fly at this stitched monstronsity, staff and fist, nothing seems to touch this beast. The walls themselves seem pitted against us, terrifying some of our pack. However Master and I puncture this demon, much to my dismay as it breaks a rib slamming into the far wall, Master recalls us, leaving this damn thing to slip away, I will rip it's steel plate from the hole in it's neck.
While we lick our wounds Miss Amrith has a bout of confusion, the Master wisely suggesting a breath of fresh air. We come across this bone spider, a cup in its hand, Kess hands it a silver and puts a silver in its mouth, seems this creature is able to heal this one... a curious one. Seems it was a trick of an alley scamp, throwing the dice down he caught our teeth and made of like a racoon with last night's scraps.
We move onward to find the room with the swords, wisely we move away headed towards the body, seems someone has slow cooked the body, or has admirable knife skills, as the flavor is not delicous. Miss Amrith and our local guide seem to think there is too much blood and something here is not quite right.
We move through this labrinth finding a small group creatures half dressed in motley, ticking as it is doubled over. Though it seems this one has hysterics, and knows our guide. From the Court of the Blood Prince, he enthrals the Master and others with a story, though not until the Master is able to produce a rat from his hat. He promptly grinds this into his mechanical center, causing a spray of blood and gore, delightful.... He calls himself Zeenkeef (Rix Madi), and explains a trade of friendship and drugs.
Entry 18 Roast Corpse with a side of Mushroom Soup
Master talks to this mad motley fool, who tells us their are many skull keepers that roam these halls. He also tells us that in order to leave this maze we must become "perfect", abandon the flesh, and perfect the artifice, we should have brought marsh water, these machines would seize up. Trying to find our way forward, another corpse, stripped of clothing and its head. The Wandering One shows us a clean kill with a bladed weapon, dead within the week, before the rot sets in deep.
Moving ahead it smells of roast flesh, a grand cookoff in the swamps after a great victory. Master comes to a huge pull of blood, and throws a rat into it, must be a strange elf thing.... an elven boy, of blood, asks him for a body, something he said must have enraged this spirit as it threw this rat at him. Seems the boy is scared, and leaves the Master to move on his way.
They are sure having a shindig, which Master seems keen on crashing, I sure do hope we can kill some of these fools. Yet again he chooses his tongue over his blade, a waste of good meat. They speak of the black tar, and how it changes them into these beasts. They also destroyed their orbs, and tell us of the leaders, who betrayed their followers.
Though they are able to keep the skullkeeper at bay, though it takes one of them with him. They have not passed the blood, and they have knowledge of another survivor, this Maker, a forge master? Miss Amrith, tries to force them out of their lair, but they wish to remain, his weapon a flaming brand.
Master calls for my return, no killing today, maybe they can be fodder for the skull keeper later. As we continue the Master wisely looks both ways before crossing, seems all lessons were not lost on him. He identifies a number of sprung traps.
Seems there are more people to meet, an old cripple, the forge master, or at least clever forge minder. Seems this one knows of the festival, though he is disfigured greatly. His shop is in some dissarray, making this tidy may help Master's standing. Though drugs seem to also buy a way in, for a map and possibly a way out. He shows us the gate, the path out of here, but no clear way to open it. He tells us this place was a machine, he must have designed. Before his rage takes hold, soup must be served.
Seems he has trapped some wisps down below to create a small garden, clever. His poison is rare parylitic, and he parts with a vial. We rest for bit as we talk, and set out towards the gate.
Master spies the skull keeper, we are able to beat him back, but Master has fallen in the battle
Entry 19 Inching towards freedom
Our Wondering companion, quite handidly pulls a magical tent from nothingness, quite a useful trick. We are able to patch ourselves up to some degree, before breaching this gate. Slowly making down the hall a destroyed statue is scattered in the hall. Rix knows this, and has disgust for creature, a destroyer of the Advesary. Moving some rubble aside an enormous gem, which looks to have been part of this beast, likely its heart. Crossing through is more treacherous than expected, Kess is frozen in place for some time before pulling him off this mound of malice.
There is a small trap ahead, a miniature pit, one should simply hop across, though Master seems to nearly miss nonetheless.
The walls start having bones littered in the walls but there is a mechanical crab in the wall, inside a skull. Which our friend, tries to consume, seems to have upset his sensibilites. Miss Amrith, looking to see if this room is permeated with magic, and well it is. Ahead, the bones get more dense. The tooth fairy is up ahead , yet the golem of bone is behind. TIme to destroy another useless creature, or 2, or 3, the last invisible, damn. Master Nasin falls, but steals back this tooth faries dice, and shoves them down his throat.
Miss Amrith is taking a beating from the bone pile, it looks as though she has broken many ribs, this is not good. The Master is knocked to the ground, as this stupid creature comes at me. The shaper brings down a bolt from the storm shattering this fiend into teeth.
The golem is destroyed, and we are free to sift through this creature's horde.

Entry 20 It's all about leverage
The Wondering One produces this hut once more, as the Shapechanger brings life to us once more. The Master is overjoyed with his newly reclaimed dice, reminds me of his childhood... maybe I should take this toy as well. Miss Amrith, hands me a bag, one that could hold quite a lot, and some bones.. for garments, a fine project! This can be done after food and rest.
Out towards the room, an enormous lever, and 4 pillars, still more bones. I wonder how they cleaned this out, seems a small hole. I will build a trap from these bones, to kill this beast, hopefully it will starve slowly
We pull on this rope and the pillar moves? Master stops us before disaster strikes. They are able to move the lever into the other postion, as we head back smoke, seems a battle or accident occured. They are all burning, well the Eyes is just stabbed badly, seems I am not alone. This oddity melts into a goo before me, though oddly has a good energy about it. On all fours I make it back to the group, the shadows will guide us through.
4/6 Pass without trace
Miss Amrith decides to walk close to this Gaurdian, though not quite enough, as she is struck. Quickly the Shapechanger brings for huntress cats, amusing, as they pounce from the shadows. Seems they could tear this thing apart, quite amazing destruction. Under shadow, we scoop the life workers remains up, and it seems to cleanse the Wandering One and his bird, a handy bit of knowledge.
We quickly work our way through the maze, leaving gears strewn through the hall, the panthers dancing in and out of the shadows, and closing our path with web. Quickly we make our way towards the open gate.
Entry 21 Did we really just leave one shit hole in order to crawl into another?
Finally made it to this damned gate! I will slowly drip salt water into this Queen Bitche's maw until she corrodes.
As they chase the Wondering One pitches camp? Surely an odd distraction, but it seems to be impassable, clever if not strange.
We exit into burial chambers, the stench of old dead fills the air, the one who walks this land is no stranger and puts us onto a well laid path, towards a water source, possibly towards her garden home. The Master chooses to, what the soft skins call "tactically retreat" away from the city once he hears these words.
We come to a sewer exit, possibly swepth the burial grounds with it, there is some chance the water will contain disease these travelers will die from. This should be tested for depth before stripping off boots and wading in deep.
Miss Amrith is back ashore, digging through the mushrooms to find some cloth on a corpse, or what remains. And now she is a foppish elf noble, things could be worse. Ah seems a trick of this cloak, how handy. Maybe we can trick this queen to thinking one survived and kill her while she is distracted, or cloaked her champion.. hmm great.
A delicous crocodile swims towards us, but we are busy and full on food so I tell it to leave. The Master quickly finds his way from the warmth of the swamp, to a door open by the remains of a blink dog, a strong creature. Seems the door is owned by the same group who this skull belonged to. Miss Amrith seems to determined how to open the door, only after Master artfully slips in.
This hallway starts to dry our clothes, an interesting effect, useful for covering tracks. Master wisely looks to check the door to make sure we can come and go as we please, seems we need to just touch the symbol. That was elaborate, and now the Wondering One is gone again, time to move on.
Down a short flight and we come to another set of doors, Miss Amrith mentions this door has a magical field. On the steps there is a message in Nashantari "Freedom, Excellence, Secrecy, Fidelity, Arete". Clearly this faction strove to make a name for themselves. The doors open with ease, whisper quite, this would be good to copy for the hold.

Our Wondering companion dares to speak and surely, the room speaks back, the ruler beckoning him forward. Denial did not upset this one, but instead looked towards Miss Amrith for a student. Master relies on his most favorite tactic, conversation, telling him of the arcane schools, and he is clearly impressed. Though it is Miss Amrith who steps forward recieving his mark.
Then she walks through a wall and we attempt to follow (Elya and I passed)
Entry 22 Arch Magus Thadrulex's Antechamber
Miss Amrith moves onward, no barrier will stop her on this path to learn more, there must be a great knowledge to obtain. It seems this path was meant for her alone, as this Son of Varta cannot break through with magic, and I am unable to track.
The Earth Walker seems to take notice of the statues, clearly something important as she quickly recoils from its presence. Master Nasin, hearing no response he walks towards the door but the statue again comes to life, warning of entering without the bond. Master is wise to head this warning and is marked.
This place is a mess, how could this being claim to have such a house of learning but leave this mess of a noble entrance. This statue asks again if I wish to learn, is it possible this servant is so limited. I will not let this stand, house Nasin will not be students in a place so run down.
Master goes for the door expecting this rubble to stop him, but instead it asks the Wandering One to petition for this mark, and continues to ask in the same manner, slowly making its way over. This does not end well as this Son of Law is smashed into the ground. There is an uproar from Miss Amrith behind this wall, unacceptable, this statues corpse will make a fine battering ram. The Wandering One is somehow back on his feet and quick to dispatch this rock, but not before slamming into my chest.
The hall has a spider's nest and an ettercap, but it seems Miss Amrith is down further. Hopefully this Magic Learned can impress us by burning out some pests. It seems the first step has gone well, but the flaming runner landed on him, this is not good, the smell of burning flesh is everywhere.
I was able to clog the hall while Master used his heroic strength to pull the wounded from battle. It should be noted when we return home to find some giant spiders in order to make a meal, they are tasty.

Miss Amrith hopped up out of this well and ended the remains of these spiders, she seems raring to go. She talks of an elf spirit trapped below, requiring a ring for us to release her. The Earthern One believes this person is of import and must be freed, The Gardner's.
Entry 23 Thadrulex's School - A Treatise of T Junctions
No matter the darkness, the deathly smells from his comrades, Master still keeps the camp lively with witty banter, homage to his two bloodlines. Following his whims he "breaks camp", and quickly the camp is stowed and I follow his nobel path.
Miss Amrith and I catch up as the Master is momentarily held up by the chose of 2 doors, opting for a complex method of rhyme to resolve his predicament. The Tree Walker isn't pleased by this and looks to see the other direction, but ultimately sees the wisdom in his method. Between Miss Amrith and The Wandering One they explain this focus has much of Thadrulex's personality, seeing weakness in non-elven kind. Across the hall shows another spell focus, it's opposite a white orb, full of life. This is too dangerous for now and we go to check the other path.
The Wandering One shows that each of these are the founders of a school of magic, though doubts that Thadrulex was their teacher, an odd thing to claim something so grand in a place so run down. Miss Amrith mirrors this Zelda the unstudied Blood Witch, a curious mentor, she believes she is related.
I carefully study each of these figures that mark the start of their house, if Thadrulex was truly their teacher he may yet keep some of their possessions.
House Jahoon, House Jinda, House Ardaphan, Neermata, House Telemon and the Unstudied. are present Missing is House Malestri (Represented in the other room) and House Varta and House Isthari.
Black Crystals sorround a pool of frozen black ichor, and the alcove houses 3 pillar of flames dancing slowly with no wind. This looks a place that I could medidate peacfully. Miss Amrith says her blade was quenched here when forged, but the Son of Law reads "Passage for payment, trial for tribute, blood for bounty." Master mentions he heard his mother speaking of sacrifice, and I could feel the warmth of their bodies, and the hunger inside.
Master tells me to hold before slitting the throat of his rat, and now it is my companion, I can feel it tremble as it knows death comes at any moment. A glorious way to relax amongst this tense backdrop.
Atop the throne an ancient elf, alive in some manner, marked with the sigil of Thadrulex. A diciple Ozemar, asks us if we are here to claim the prize, he claims to be the last diciple. He looks to show us power by casting a spell, but his silence in Master's presence is all that is required. (-2 Ki). Blood Magic, interesting this may be worth learning, however he cannot weather our attack and turns to dust (-3 Ki)
Entry 24 Thadrulex's School - The Big Chair
The chair, now empty, only a bone of this watcher remais. The Earthen One knows it is metal, and through an act of sheer fate Miss Amrith falls into the chair, unable to get up. The Child of Law reads to get up he must defeat a magic user in a duel, this time allows me to medidate (ki). It seems all Miss Amrith needed was to let out some frustration in orderto get up. We set up our dimensional camp in order to recover.
Finally the Wizard joins us and is able to move the walls with the might of his magic. While he touches the book, it seems we will need to crush these statues who are moving, this seems to be a pastime of this Thadrulex. The battle rages, and the earth walker changes into an ape, most interesting. Eventually I am able to strike a weak point stunning this construct (3/5 ki)
Miss Amrith and Master seem to hold their own pinning Miss Amrith's look alike into the corner. The Wizard really shows his worth by bolting these creatures while reading, and I even think I see a pipe. Master and Miss Amrith are in trouble and I could not hit and disrupt this creatures flow (2/5 ki). The Land Walker is able to heal these two and breathes new life into Miss Amrith with one of her berries. The Child of Law determines this book is a masterpiece of wizardly knowledge. A short break allows me to collect myself 5/5 ki.
The last door, the Master wisely recieves each of our inputs graciously as a pool of silver liquid. The Earth Walker is willing to take the risk for our Master, seeing what the pool has to offer, but does say not to touch. However when I enter it seems this place wants to show me what it thinks of my past. What a disgrace, to have my shirt blooded by my own teeth, his life will end (4/5 ki) ... slowly (3/5 ki). Master requests for me to drag my double out of this room, but the Earth Walkers Mirror seems to be brining havoc upon the others.
I run back in against Master's orders and stun these imposters (1/5 Ki) This gives the opening Master needed to thrust his blade into my face. Though it seems it was too slow, as Miss Amrith's life force drains. This pool has power, maybe it will be possible to fuse this into her soul.
Vaz gains sever OCD as his mind breaks watching himself die!
Entry 35 Blood and Death.
The Soul Changer rises up once again, it seems to rave to the God of Death much like Miss Amrith once had, and strikes one of the Champions with her blade, but the battle is pitched and she does not fair well. General Blade Hearth continues to channel this rooms energy into his body, bringing himself back to full strength, the Law Maker sees this and absorbs the power in this room with brute force, redirecting it into this Failure of Leader. The other Champion cannot allow this to stand, and goes for Varta, but not for long as my strikes land on Nermatta's and she must extinguish his life to remain standing. General Blade Heart comes flying into this fallen ruler... what is Master doing, does he understand this device? Well he sure was able to create havoc, nonetheless. It seems Master has changed quite a bit by doing this, his skin is possibly burnt, and well he is breathing so that problem will be for later.
The Skin Changer looks to even the odds bringing back the night stalkers, unfortunately I must focus on this fight and am not able to support their numbers. The Law Maker seems to have yet another Law Enforcer into this place, can truly just anything come and go as it pleases, he calls himself Lyev Varta... finally a name that makes sense. He is unable to bind this Summoner, and Master, though under much pressure pushes me to handle her. I run in, shit, it is too bloody... fuck no, not that fucking ichor...
An ocean of machine life, twisted and forgotten this is surely some sort of hell. I must get out of this place, they will perish otherwise. Oh what now, I am rising back the same way I came through, oh what is this. I must strike her down, but I am unfamiliar with her ways (0/7 ki). Master runs to my side and together we will bring her down, but she will have none of this and poisons the space around us, Master breathed too deep and has fallen. Quickly I can drag him back yelling to his Gods to protect their chosen, loyalty above all else.
The Skin Changer brings him back from the brink, but things are quickly becoming a mess here, the panthers are thinning out and energy is pouring out from the portal. Master tells me to detach this hose connecting to this statue... I need to put it somewhere, but I cannot hold onto the bag, and it goes flying across the room. Viashino fuses into my chest, poor creature. We come together to pray for Yaneed, to fulfill his role in the prophecy. The souls respond, and flow into the Flesh as the Skin Changer wishes, and light fills it, while the wand transforms into the spear. Miss Amrith removes the ichor feeding this creature, while Master slices off the other end. Varta reads the fucking book, and fucking rips our souls into this beast.
We head to the field of battle and level the armies to nothing, bringing our spear to bare. Once vanquished we appear back in the room where we came to be this creature. I collect the bag, the book and the splinter of the tree for safe keeping. It seems there are 5 more crowns, but they are spent.
Entry 26 Open Sesame
Finally ready, we head into the tomb. There seems to be much magic in the room keeping this Magus safe. It isn't until the Wandering One steps in that the room comes alive with necrotic energy.
This Syreen mentions the ring is in the room, and her and Thadus enter this tomb alone. The Changed One slams into the air nearly breaking her arm on nothing, something here is wrong. I have been seperated from the family, this is unacceptable.
There is a small hole for the smoke to escape, though it would only be large enough for a small creature, there must be another way through. These two pointed ears ones are poking around this arcane force that bars our way.
Thadus goes to thrust his blade into the tomb, but a hand, made of nothing, shatters his blade! Master is in far too much danger! The Molted Soul runs to his aid, but his magic surely protects him.
I failed to create an image of this fool's lover, but I cannot remember her face, and he capitalized trying to crush the life from the molted one. This wall though cannot stop magic, I will tear this mage down from his throne beyond the grave. Seems Master wishes to destroy him first, but something is not right, he just changes shape... into a ghost.
Finally this wall dropped, Mages, they talk too much, even when they are dead. (3/5 Silence) I hope Master and this skin shifter can make it in time, and don't linger. Kess imbues me with warmth.

Embroiled in combat we were able to stun, and destroy these ghosts. The Fresh Skin one, burned them form the sky, while the soul shifter cut them down. The Master shot another to pieces. (1/5 used 2 stuns)
We pull the crowns from their homes and run for it, this fills this room of spores, and Elya runs head first into this cloud. And the spores starts to dissapate, interesting, very powerful.
The taint of this place washes away.
Entry 25 An Exercise in Bad choices
When Miss Amrith rises, she seems to be confused by her tail, and body.
She introduces herself as Cyrian, Amrith's progenetor now her ancestor a statue's soul. Her daughter was Ashylnda, One Who Will Give Shelter, Thadus' greatest of grandmothers. This is good, still serving the family then.
After much deliberation Master decides to play in this well, and looks much better for it. Elya also decides to go for dip, and no longer smells like earth. it must have been a long time since bathing.
It seems Master is in shock watching himself melt. Elya does mention the spores are going to hurt, and we should leave.
We deliberate on what to do with the wells, but a plan is difficult to decide. After Master drops a coin into the fire he ask Kess to bring over a crystal, smased revealing an Elven prince's crown, a glowing blue sphere. He repeats this gesture, revealing a pink rhomboid, a red sphere, though it seems this path may lead to chaos.
Not Amrith, pours a vial of blood 2 demons come forth for the pool of blood. They talk with the Master and this newcomer in Amrith's body. Kess attempts to hand the crystal over to the devil. It seems they are able to finish the sentence quickly perfectly as Master suggested and the door opens.
You must burn to ash to go forward
Jumping over the flame without the mark may have been a mistake, everything is on fire. Finally bringing this down, the Wandering One was able to conjure grand amounts of water. And brings out our Tiny hut, before we go into the Tomb
Time to rest and spend some time cleaning and mending, and cooking.
Entry 27 What the Fuck Now - Hell Roomba, that's what
Finally we leave this place, back through this warm tunnel, the only thing pleasant thing about this place. It smells like the whole world is on fire, this exist may no longer be valid. Master wisely remembers that his fans amongst the city gave him a potion to see all around him. He warns us of the smoldering fire, and a possible enemy downstream. Law and Renewed Life push down the door, and it crumbles; the Master concludes, most wisely, that Arcane mysteries sorrounded this prison.
(4/6 Pass without Trace) Making wet rags to Master's Plan we head out, into an ashen landscape, it is dry, not a drop of water remaining. Master tells me to lead on trough the smoke, towards the sharpening blade, I am ready to destroy what hunts us. Turns out a boiler from hell has turned this world into ash.
Master orders a tactical retreat as we rush to the eastern edge of the city, we quickly must scale this wall as we are being chased against a dead end. We quickly scale the wall, but master calls to be lifted up by the rope. Varta, comes and looks over the edge and snaps his fingers, lifting the Master the rest of the way.
Finally there is a moment to collect our thoughts, I am able to collect myself (6/6) and quickly clean up as best I can from the soot.
The Skin Changer plays with a bird, one that is growing, after eating a rat, quite the powerful creature. We follow this odd bird, until she remembers it is something that should be gone from this world. At one point it roars at me and tells me us we will get out.This Vinsaka, as they name it, The Annihilation Bird, might be useful.
We crawl our way through the sewers until we find a break in the line and find our way out into a bath house. It seems a sauna and a natural hot spring are in tact. Finally there is time to clean these awful clothes and cook something decent. We take the time to bathe, clean under every nail, scrub every pot, polish every buckle.
It seems this bath contains great power, Master's companions all leave looking radiant, though Master seems beyond himself, and the Spirit Walker looses control and tries to kill the servant, honestly so untamed.
Though it wasn't enough to simply bathe and move on.
Entry 34 ... served once.
Wisps surround General Blade Heart, overtaking him. I must find a better ground to attack from, hopefully I can loose these creatures. Master works perfectly to dance in with his blade and cut through the opening. This General is resilient, only going down to swear at his attacker, but the shard bounces free. This is what Master risked everything for, all of us where to come gather this piece of the blade. The Magic Eating Bird returns with a roar that would wet the breeches of most men, but this is nothing I will wait to see what happens in this filthy situation. This General knows death is near once this feathered doom appears, and steps through shadows even I could not chase. This bird looks to leave, it is too late a move must be made, I was hoping to save this fruit to cultivate a poison farm, oh well I must serve the Master. The Bird has my fucking hand in its beak, we go hire, shit I must break free, there is time.... fuck.
Meat, delicious meat, Viashano learned well, to rip flesh from your enemy and gain its strength. Everyone made it down here... interesting. This beast is still in a rampage but the skin changer still believes it deserves to live, what a ridiculous notion. (1/7 Ki) This beast is not known to me I must see it die. The damn thing takes flight before we are able to recover the damn blade, but Tassadre is still down here, at least something will die here. There is no time to waste, we must destroy him. It seems there are some tool brought to life in front of us, truly we don't have the moments to waste, once this ingrate dies we will be able to see what secrets lies here.
It seems the housekeepers here couldn't bother to discipline their workers and had to create ones that moved without a will of their own, what weakness, they are quickly dispatched. This next room, we thought we would find Tassadre but instead Master says this is an attempt to rebuild the "Bloody Hand of God" and Nematta is here. This is everything we were looking to avoid.
The Soul Changer is able to lock the Lady in a battle of wills, they are wrestling for control. Things are out of hand, and this is not a battle we can win by conventional means. I hand the splinter of the spear to Elya, she has a plan. Never would I have expected the plan to be smash it into that crazy ass wand she found, magic erupts through the room, fire and lightning rain down on Nermatta, though she grows larger.
Entry 33 Revenge is a dish...
The pitched battle continues, these bugs are a nuisance, but they are between us and the war machine, which cannot be taken so lightly. It seems, they have a grudge against The Molted One, this will give us the opportunity needed to bring its end, unfortunately it seems my movements were too slow, Master was exposed and taken down. Vengeance was quick and painful, crushing this overstated dinner's skull with my fist. The Molted One was quick to revive the Master, I wonder if this ones companion will be so helpful. It did bring it back, as an abomination, an interesting ability, but this machine would have none of it.
This guardian retreats, waiting for us to approach. Like all members of a Royal House it is simply a matter of knowing what buttons to press. First we must gather ourselves, and prepare for this journey. (Short Rest 7/7 Ki)
A clean suit, a polished crown, a fancy title, an air of arrogance, and all guards stand aside.
The stronghold is under siege, very active siege. Savra is firing advanced forces directly into building, but we are watching, very carefully. Arcane wards against living creatures have been set but the Son of Law is able to move it, in order to cover our tracks. There is a broken staircase, slithering up I can see more of the landscape. This fortress is is falling apart, and the forces falling upon this place are innumerable, bugs and mushrooms are crawling over all over the place. Tassadre is far afield facing 3 of these insects, but he retreats up another floor to building behind.
We make a dash for it, keeping us from sight (5/7 Ki) we cross the rooftop and chase down this "Greatest Killer of Erosia", time to remove his claim to this title. Lady Elya, walks as a goat and is torn apart, we have no time to waste. I am able to get a quick shot in on him quickly, but he is masking himself, it is too difficult to stop his flow of Ki (4/7 Ki). He is fast, too fast, this might be my end.
This bright juice on my tongue, one of the goodberries, another chance to fight. Finally a solid hit to get his attention, but not enough to stop him in his tracks (2/7 Ki). I must gain some distance, and Lady Elya decides he needs better seasoning, and shoves some of those mushrooms down his throat.
Entry 32 To Kill A General
We head into the sewers, I will get Master to his target unseen, unheard, undetected, eventually. Along the way we cross the remains of the Purge Machine, the Law Maker, Master, and the Soul Splitter all conclude some creature detonated one of the powerful crystals. The entrance to Thadrulex's tomb is grown over with the black fungus, they all stop to study, though Master is asking me to make haste. Ah one of these explosive devices is rigged in our path, I can bring the Wandering One to see this, and he motions this is not good, in our return I foolishly tap this with my tail, fucking place. My tail is short, or maybe shortened, I cannot remember, what is this... besides exhausting. (1 Level Exhaustion). We approach the entrance to the Labyrinth we escaped from, the Master at my side we move slowly. The Wandering One saves me the trouble of climbing through, another of these mines exist. We make our way back to the laboratory, and can hear some of are old acquaintances. The Wandering One looks around the corner and asks all sorts of ridiculous questions about anatomy. Master goes to cast the vial of biomancer fluid, but he graciously uses the ichor instead allowing me to consume the elixir, restoring what I have lost (removes exhaustion, tail is back).
Master gives the signal to attack with ranged only, the Wandering One sends fire into the room, and butterflies from the Skin Changer, I don't understand this plan. Regardless its chattering is annoying, time to make this quiet (5/7 Ki). The Soul Splitter knows better and just tries to eliminate this mass of flesh. In battling this beast, it retreats showing an egg of my people, which I recover quickly and pull back from. (4/7 Ki) Instantly I see a time, a long time ago when dealing with the Madness of Port Gambit, a time when the Ward the failed, and chaos took over. It hatches, clearly meant as a hunter and considers me bonded, this will be the first Viashino.
Coming to the edge of the battle we all charge ready to end these enemies which stand in our way. These casters must be silenced (2/7 Ki), and it seems the construct is also keen on their destruction.
Entry 31 Orientation Backward
We have worked our way through the pattern of this place and make our way to "Orientation" where it seems the Master is expected. The hall beyond gleams unusually, slowly and carefully we make our way to the next door, where we are greeted generously by a Conjurant, my mirror in Nashantar, to NIV. It seems this one had served House Varta, and know quite a bit of each of us. This one walks through time as one walks down an alley.
Master, wiser than most, begins to see this land and NIV for what it is, energy and mind, tethering this place to our home, the prime plane. NIV, is magic, and this Time Walker tells us they are here to receive us, and guide us through this orientation. This place is ruined with the destruction from the Adversary, and the Conjurant explains this land is an echo generated by NIV, and could be saved by returning to the prime material plane.
While Master speaks and looks to go forward, so I make this one tea, I know what it means to never have been served. The Time Walker thanks me by channeling its force into me, expanding my will and sight, a glorious feeling.

Master and The Soul Splitter enter this office, The Overseer, to see if there is anything informative. They find an image of Varta's Grandsire, Quorian, Magesh, Tharulex, and a young Syreen. Seems they had worked together on this place, Master is obsessed as he starts to pull about the very furniture itself.
Master finds letters, about the lineage Miss Amrith, that her father is not who she thought, nor her mother. They fall into debate about who is born of whom, this is all too much, but I think that bastard with the shard in his chest needs to die and that is good enough. It seems binding these shards are required in order to move through Orientation. We rest here in order to head back and retrieve the first piece.
As we cross the lands and back into Niermada's territory it seems the Gardner's are scaling a large invasion into the territory. We get closer to one of the skirmishes and we find these insect like creatures.
As we head towards the center, the frequency of these battles are increasing, we must sneak in and get the drop on this General. Back into these sewers and back from this trap in order to get back at them.
Entry 30 Tower of Babble
Resting we find ourselves surrounded by the creatures of opposing forces, they are growing in number, waiting, this may test my abilities to the limit. It seems Varta has filled this hut with enough smoke that even he needs fresh air, and talks to these creatures, though they only speak what they are. The Law Creator asks us about Niv, says one of these creatures stated it while pointing at the tower and mentioning danger, and so Master goes out to learn more. Elya mentions long ago this experiment was meant to bring magic to all life in Nashantar, but it seems Varta's line was staunchly against this. The Skin Changer walks forward, and these creatures give praise, and requests an audience and a tour, though we were granted this already. The body of opposites, William, leads us towards a staircase, many paths lie ahead of us.
It seems that both the Soul Splitter and Master both hear voices from their trusted advisors blade and father, seems that this must be a trait of their brood, but it seems that I also can hear the Lord's words, in my foolishness I did not think on them and almost fell from the stairs. Luckily we have been tied together, and I did not expire in this trial. The next floor is already marked in my Master's hand, though a 10 against our current 7, though a door is also present. It seems to be in good condition, and well kept, the brass is spotless. Master requests me to knock with my umbrella, and I announce the arrival of Elya of the Tree. A small heat goblin comes and talks nonsense but thinks I am this Viashino. He hands me a wand after Master speaks his gibberish, made of the tree, and Varta names it a Wand of Wonder, and I hand it to Elya for safe keeping.
The door opens and the room and it is filled with many of my kin, vats of glowing green fluid with those of my bloodline, an army. This can be wonderful, maybe I could wake them, but the Master finds a dead Goblin and one of my brood, seems this happened long ago, kept stable by some biomancer fluid. The books seem to have been debased by some foul goblins, but no worries this mess will be cleaned up quickly. While we clean the Master and the Soul Splitter find some form of portal (pyrology, storms and electricity, metalurgy, alchemy, orientation, mimeography, continuism, geometry, plasma dermatology, virology) . Lady Elya calls for aid, and another creature arrives to aid, and tells us NIV is prime values, indivisible or unique. In the books we find the Master's handwriting, Tesadre denounced NIV they worked together on the war mind initiative, to build the ultimate soldier We also find notes about goblins and their skin runes mapping to lay lines, as well as a recommendation to replace them with Viashino, as they are weak against the Adversary. We begin our trek after these goblins and in search of orientation.
Entry 29 Trek into the Heart

Master sends me to range ahead in order to find a suitable camping ground, though I see these large mechanical spider harvesting mushrooms, fellow seems a bit prickly. Reporting back to the Master, it seems this spider was quite cautious around these particular mushrooms, and the Molted One knows this one is a Shrieker, a mushroom that screams, most interesting. Master deliberates our course of action and wisely chooses to carefully sneak past these alarms and traps. He is most wise, none would have thought of such a clever plan. (4/6 ki pwt) The shadow's embrace holds Master and his followers close, as we traverse this battlefield.
We divert south in order to find a shelter, slowly and carefully we avoid patrols until it becomes a confusing jumble of streets, a heavy fog blankets the area. An odor of dead younglings fills my nostrils, seems a nest mother has abandoned the brood, a corpse eater, or sulfur. It seems the rules of the universe are less meaningful in this place, what a shame. A stream blocks our path, seems it pulses with magic, the others cross and observe grounding rods for magical energy, looks like a bottom feeder then.
Walking towards the center, Master and the Soul Splitter discern this place looked to harness a great source of magic to bring forth a god of Secrets, such a being if it existed, could clearly have been brought if you had a secret it wanted, foolish elves. The New Skin sees a bridge floating in the sky, and flies up, a bird dripping mud. and finds a flame watcher. This Flame Guy wants us to release a creation upon the world for his enjoyment, seems for he is but a guardian for one who waits behind. This one seems to be unnamed, or more accurately one of arithmetic. Varta accepts this challenge and creates a nightmare than only deserves death and oblivion. The Master shows that his ego has no bounds, and this is accepted, and I a humble servant, am allowed to follow. Miss Amrith is given passage without question.
This place is an odd place, clearly a manufacture of mortal hands, this seems to have brought in all this land into one spot. This locations power is unstable, you can taste it, this Master is beyond his means and doesn't know it. We rest here before approaching this immortal.
Entry 28 Master's Death

Master, what have you done?
We found him, floating, bleeding, what weakness has overcome him in order to make an attempt on his own life. Quickly the body changer was able to stabilize his condition, though his hands seem to continue to drip blood, a wound that just won’t close. It seems his essence has changed, and now he cannot help but bleed. Syreen believes it could be blood magic, but to what end?
Master decided to call upon the gods, turns out a “Bloody Hand” a god of old, of war and vengeance, seems this being was summoned in order to defend Nashantar, but possible had some catastrophe, spilling blood over the land of the blood prince. We try to come back to the house of Law, but find the lion, down and licking its wounds as the house is crushed by the remains of a giant berserker. Master commands me to search this path, and it seems a mage of some renown and humor sets a traps, filled with the whims of bards and stage.
The lion and giant are down, but after some time we approach, and I set to task carving up this beast, though we will gain nothing delicious from here. (+1 Giant S&M Blood Vial) . We quickly leave this place to find shelter using Kess' retreat, where the Master honors me with a crown of the Blood Prince (+2 Dex !!!)
