The Bloody Handed God

God of War   Born of the Phoenix King and the White Lady.   Second only to the Phoenix King, who was killed by the Adversary during the turning of the firstborn.   The Bloody Handed God was cursed by the Phoenix King to bear a hand of blood so all would remember his claiming of a mortal who had risen in favor in his father's eyes.    The Bloody Handed God was one of the beings that fought in the wars of origin, purging the elemental djinn and the other primordial from the material plane and along with the Phoenix King and the White Lady crafted the gauntlet, the barrier between the material and immaterial. Doing so bound the gods away from their mortal children limiting the interactions to messengers and avatars.    When the White Lady broke the Phoenix's King's ruling to no longer directly interact with the mortals, she was given to the Bloody Handed God to torture for 1,000 years. One of her mortal followers, made a bargain of blood for the power to defeat the Bloody Handed God and free the White Lady. The mortal was granted a sword, and the attempted to wield the sword against the Bloody Handed God, but was killed. The Phoenix King then cursed the Bloody Handed God to forever after be known only by the Blood on it's hands.    During the wars of origin he was pierced with the weapon of the primordial of oblivion and through this all mortals gained a fear of death.   During the golden age of Nashrantar, worship of the Bloody Handed God was curtailed, only a few cults remained.    During the fall of the world, an attempt was made to restore the faith in the Bloody Handed God and summon him into a great avatar to do battle against a great demon, but he was defeated.
