Low Winds

1.) Tranquil Waters

This large and lovely estate is the home of the Volutancomb family. They are the preeminent sail and sandship makers in all of the Wild Winds Desert. They have contracts with people all throughout the region, from as far away as Stonewood.

2.) LilyLilac Mansion

The Hawakat family rose to prominence two generations ago when the clan's matriarch, Somawi Hawakat, slew an elder Dunewinder that was threatening the city. As a reward, the then Rah-Al-Neem granted her the estate. Ever since, the Hawakat family has been Rah-Al-Neem's personal monster hunters.

3.) Whisperwind Chateau

This great house was renamed after the Ralendallian invasion. It was torn down and renovated in the Ralendallian style, and still stands out as an architectural aberration in the city. The family that renovated it was driven out five years ago, and it is now the home of the Younis family, a family of prolific and powerful traders.

4.) Idlehall

Idlehall has been the home and residence of the Master of Tax of Peloch for centuries. The house has seen many masters, all of whom have left their mark on it. There are rumors of hidden or secret rooms, a great vault in the basement, and forgotten additions added by various families over the years. The current resident, Renini Fetah, is a very private person, and guests are rarely welcomed in.

6.) Orene Estate

Orene estate is a triumph of classical Pelochian architecture and is the home of the Namsep family, who have been influential in Peloch for generations.

5.) Cagaloglu Hamam

The Cagaloglu bathhouse is one of the hotbeds of intrigue and deals for Peloch. Its walls are filled with small private baths where people come together away from prying eyes and decide the fate of the city. It is said that while the fate of the city is declared at the Grand Council Chamber, it is decided at the Cagalolu Hamam.

7.) The Ground Gourd

This small and unassuming shop is well-loved and much visited by the residents of Low Winds. The Ground Gourd is an herbalism shop that has made its reputation as the purveyor of the city's finest and most potent aphrodisiacs. Many customers will stop at the Ground Gourd and the Purple Petal on their way home.

8.) The Golden Trinket

The Golden Trinket is an interesting tavern. It caters both to the rich and powerful who move through the streets of Low Wind and the people who serve them and work in the neighborhood. Its large and well-appointed dining room is well-suited for the families of the various estates, while its basement is a dark and smoky tap room where many of the guards, servants, and vendors of the neighborhood gather. The upper floor is divided into several comfortable rooms available to rent.

9.) The Purple Petal

This lovely-smelling business is one of the city's preeminent perfumeries. They specialize in amazing scents crafted using plants grown in nearby Riyadh.

10.) The Many Blooms Gardens

This beautiful and stately Riyadh boasts the greatest variety of flowers in all of Peloch. It is a riot of colors and smells year around.
