Mythology & Lore
Joramy embodies the fury and beauty of volcanoes. She is passionate and a lover of argument for argument's sake, but also good-natured and a champion of those devoted to a cause. Her holy symbol is a volcano. She fills her worshippers with raging passion and burning enthusiasm, similar to the volcanoes she is associated with.
Divine Origins
Some believe she was initially one of the Sovereigns of Elemental Evil who reformed and fled, making herself a new home on the Prime Material. She now lives in Mount Heekakouri where her first and oldest temple is.
Worship
Her worshipers are often revolutionaries and charismatic leaders. She is also beloved and worshipped by politicians, hagglers, lawyers, and anyone else who argues as part of their living. They will often pray to her before an important debate.
Priesthood
Her priesthood is a meritocracy. people move up and down the ranks based on their ability to debate and argue. When someone wants to move up in the priesthood they must debate someone of a higher station and win. These debates have all the formality, and sometimes the stakes of a duel.
