Session 2 - His true smile

Right after being introduced to all of the residents of the Longstache Mansion, the party members have a little digistive scare, resulting in Brad quickly running towards his room and becoming indisposed for a day. The rest of the group walk around the house getting to know people they've just met. They speak with Orfil about the book he's been reading (The history of history). Faelan asks him if he knows of any healing plants. Orfil offers a deal: he will gather info on healing plants from the mansion's library and in return the party will find an answer to his question: What makes Finwe truly, and honestly, smile? After agreeing, the group engages with Almon who invites them to come and watch his dabate performance. The group accepts the invite and talks to Gali about plants, the plant-watering device and his paintings. He also has an invite for the PCs. He proposes, that he will show them his favourite spots in the forest for painting and in return they will protect him from forest creatures. After that the group has a whole day to kill, before their job for Esmé can begin.

The group decides to find the answer to Orfil's question by spying on Finwe through his bedroom window. They find the perfect tree to do so. However while climbing the tree they see that something (or someone) is already sitting in it. Turns out Pob and Fugg were ordered by Inyel to spy on Melech. After blowing their cover, they clumsily fall from the tree and go back to city guards' barracks. Before leaving they tell the party that Finwe left his room through the open window around an hour prior. The PCs try to repeatedly climb, jump and then climb (again) into Finwe's room through the open window. After few tries and errors they finaly succeed and end up in Finwe's room. They find some woodcarving knives and some small statues. In his dest they also see songs and notes. After inspecting the room they exit (through the window). Faelan falls and hits the trunk of the tree. Melech exits through the (yet unchecked) open doors and suddenly is messaged by his boss to come for a chat.

During the conversation Melech gets pushed away from any paperwork and any offical city guard duties and bacomes an undercover agent to spy on Lord Longstache. Inyel requests that Melech and his party go to The Cursed Axe. According to Inyel's spies, a violent confrontation between Longstache's and Greenbridge's goons can happen. After arrival the group notices that there will be a performances showcase. They decide to wait, ordering beer and drinking Faelan's tea. They watch many performanes and finally they see Finwe singing a love song, and smiling during the final note. Melech, seemingly uninterested in love songs, listens to the conversation of two men sitting in the corner of the pub. They talk about a meeting and some changes, requested by Longstache. The men notice a muscular man across the pub and hastly exit. The man gives a nod to some guys paing dice and three of them follow Longstashe's goons. The party follows as well. Quickly the fight erupts between the party and Greenbridge's three men. The goons loose and the party brings unconscious Longstache's thugs to their boss. Bakc in the mansion the crime lord rewards them gold and healing potions for helping his men.

Seng Fuji in your living room, Seng Fuji in your heart

In the mansion the PCs meet Esmé. She explains what is her job and calling and what exacly are they going to help her with. In the mornig next day the group goes to the house of Esme's employer. Their job is to move furniture in the living room, get the wardrobe out of the closet and into the living room and put the portraits in the hallway in the right order. Atfer doing so, Esme pays the party and quickly leaves them.
