Rudzik was born into a wealthy, aristocratic family. Her tyranical father, the head of the household, has always ruled over her with a heavy hand. He made all the decisions - the small and the big. What to wear, what to eat, who to talk to, who to marry. The last one was what broke the straw. Rudzik promised herself that it was the last decision her father made for her. Her picked future spouse was a extremely cruel and evil. She saw a lot of her father in the groom - and older oppressor with ties in high places.
