Papercalls

Papercalls are an old Lionirre family. They come from The Crwowned Rose and have been residing there for centuries. Known for their magical talents, the family started as a small and unimportant house, slowly but steadly climbing the political ladder. For the last few generations they created a great image of themselves as high wizards of Myth Arcaniss and Lionirre becoming very close to the crown (up to 1270, when Moonail Maadcet created floating islands as they are now and proved to be the most powerful of wizards in Lionirre taking the title, and respect that come with it, away from them). They create sought after magical furniture, which they sell at their shop on the Floating Islands.
Notable members:
  • Alicia Maadcet from the house Papercall - born in 1230, quickly became a known illusionist. She married her peer Lao Maadcet in 1245, who shortly after was officaly declared the King of Lionirre. After 5 years of having problems with fertility she finally gave birth to three Maadcet babies within the next three years: Inqoi Maadcet, Alknao Maadcet and Moonail Maadcet. In 1266 Alicia, Lao and his aunt were travelling to Cartaran. Thier ship sank.
  • Ann Papercall - born in 1240, always bookish and quiet Ann loved learning and academia more then selling and creating magic items. She studied at Myth Arcaniss, became a teacher and finally the Highest Wizard of Myth Arcaniss. She is also the former the Highest Wizard of Lionirre. The title was later given to Moonail Maadcet, who used to be Ann's student, protege and nephew. After her sister's death Ann became much closer with Moonail, becoming his guide and mentor.
  • Thomas Papercall - born in 1242, charismatic Thomas is a born seller. He runs the family buissiness.
  • Damian Papercall - born in 1255, youngest out of the four Damian has a lot to prove to his family. And to himself.
FAMILY TREE NOT AVAILABLE   Known Papercall products:
  • Papercalls’ alchemy stand: This shelf is intended to store alchemical potions and elixirs. It can store up to 50 of them. While on this shelf a mixture is automatically recognizable. All of its properties are written down on piece of paper attached to each compartment.
  • Papercalls’ apprentice’s chair: While sitting in this chair, books can be read twice as fast. It also applies to magical books and spellbooks. A wizard can rewrite spells into his spellbook twice as fast but the costs are still counted as normal.

  • Papercalls’ chest of scrolls: This small wooden chest is designed to store spell scrolls. It can contain 30 of them at once. Scrolls contained in this piece of furniture appear as normal non-magical documents to anybody other than the owner.
  • Papercalls’ garnering tools: When using these tools for gathering alchemical supplies you are always able to collect one more item than when using ordinary tools.
  • Papercalls’ greater tools: These alchemical supplies give you advantage on your alchemy checks.
  • Papercalls’ sleeping clock: You feel as time slows down around you with each tick of the clock. You can stay awake all night, probably to read, without feeling exhaustion. However time magic is very dangerous and tricky so you can only use this feature once a week.
