Dreadwood Vale's name has some meaning and symbolism in it. Mostly the word "vale". Normally it means "plains" or "valley" but when spoken can be mistaken for "veil", which can fit to this place by describing the omnipresent fog, that drapes around the entire country like a veil drapes around bride's face.
