The tablet of Mummu is the first archived and recorded piece of history that is held in the city of Gal. The Tablet is the story of the birth of civilization from the lake of Boalotu.
The document is formative in the understanding of where the Asmatum came from in the faith of Awekiatism. It teaches about the gift of life and the sacrifices necessary to follow your passions as a created individual.
Tablet of Mummu's gift
In the very beginning was Em-nam, a collective mass of all things. Em-nam was order and chaos smashed and structured, life and death looped instantly and eternally, creation and destruction unified and opposed. Eventually, Em-nam divided into two forces Apzu and Mummu Primordial beings both opposed and in need of one another. Apzu was the god of the Abyss the primordial force of destruction and disorder eternally in charge of making sure the living don't overgrow and overtake. Mummu was the primordial force of life and order keeping in check the disorder and destruction. Mummu took from her self and made the Gods, Ninti goddess of Animation, Matum god of the Material, Pagru god of Death, ushzu goddess of magic and Sarraqum God of divine Beasts. Apzu also created in kind, those from himself to hold the balance of the divine in the plane they called Tiamatsu.
Sometime later Ninti developed a passion to create an animated being with autonomous will and the ability to animate and create in their image as well. She tried for a long time always failing to find a solution to her passion, animation after animation failing to sustain itself after detaching from her magic. Soon she sought the help of the other gods the goddess of Magic Ushzu to see if new magic could be created to sustain the animation after it became detached this failed as no form of magic they could create together was sustainable after detachment from the caster. She sought out Adannu the god of time to see if magics flow could be elongated by slowing down its deterioration rate, however, this also did not work.
