A time marked by cold winter, and short, mild summers. Most importantly it marks the time Humans returned en masse to the surface from the Dwarven strongholds they had sheltered in through The Shift, and their ascent as the most dominant race on the planet.

Very little is known about life on the surface of Eridena during the Dawn of Humanity, but it was still a time of upheaval and long, cold winters, and short, cool summers. What is known is that it marks the first permanent settlements of humanity on the planet.   The largest of these would be settled in what is now Harrion, or Harrion's Keep, as it was known when it was first established. Harrion is named after the first king of Lete, Harrion Redheart, one of the oldest clans of humans on the continent. A human settlement has stood on the site of Garrickeep for thousands of years.   Throughout this time human settlements would rise on nearly every continent on the planet, and they would be come the single most dominant race as a result of their hardiness, adaptability, and ironically enough, their short lifespans. Short lifespans leave humans in a rush to accomplish things so they tend to work quickly and take extra care educating their children so no subsequent generation has to start over from scratch learning any particular thing. This has allowed them to make great leaps of technology, magic, and culture in a short period of time.
